My partner and I thorougly enjoyed our stay at Biwako Hotel. All rooms face the beautiful Lake Biwako and the view was perfect. We even caught a snowfall on one of our mornings here. The staff was great and always friendly even when there was a slight language barrier. We tried their breakfast as well which was really good. Highly recommend renting their electric bikes and cycling around the lake during sunset. And also going for the Lake Biwako Cruise! The hotel onsen is wonderful as well, we will definitely be back

Pros - Astonishing view - I had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both are delicious - Staffs are dedicated to serve - so despite the language the overall experience is still very enjoyable Cons - It surprised me how little English the staff can speak, especially in the restaurant (I don't normally complain about this in Japan but this is a Marriott...) - The shuttle bus service is a bit off... Last bus from station to hotel is before 19:00 and the information is so hard to find

It's very close to the station, so it's easy to use for those coming by train. We came by car, and the parking lot was very close to the hotel, but a little hard to find. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety at the buffet, so we were very satisfied. There's also a convenience store inside the hotel, which was convenient. There's a shopping mall nearby where we could shop and eat, and the Christmas lights were beautiful.

Room is clean, got some mikimoto sample which is great, experience is also great. Pickup service is available, will highly recommend

I couldn't speak Japanese but I could feel that they are treating every customer seriously. Their greetings and sincere services impressed me. There was a problem with my booking initially, not sure why because I didn't get proper explanation from the hotel and Trip.com, the hotel didn't mention anything however arranged some small surprise when they knew this is an anniversary trip. I tried to upgrade my meal with crab as my wife not quite like beef and fish, they said unavailable so I keep to the original. At the end I got crab, fish and beef that surprises me. I was later received a souvenir from the hotel when they served the dessert. The hotel is busy but I'm not seeing lots of people, may be all of them staying at their rooms. The experience for me was exceptional when I woke up at 6am witness the beautiful sunrise right outside the huge window, and saw an eagle passing by my camera when trying to capture that moment. Later on when I take the free shuttle bus ride to the nearby train station, I saw an eagle again came down and climbed up outside the station. Not sure it means anything, but definitely this is a very spiritual journey for me.

The hotel is well-known in the Xiongqin Hot Spring area. There was only the last one left when booking. It was not disappointing. The environment is typical Japanese style, comfortable and beautiful. The hot springs are very, very comfortable. It is really great for people who walk 20,000 steps a day. ❤️ There is a shuttle bus to the hotel. You can contact it by phone at Xiongqin Hot Spring Station. It only took about 10 minutes to wait. Thank you👍🏻 The dinner for one stay and two meals is super delicious. It is definitely worth recommending👍🏻👍🏻

Health is very good, very clean Environment: The surrounding environment is very good, not very noisy. Very close to the subway station and convenient transportation. Service: Service attitude is very good. Facilities: The facilities are average, the hotel looks like it has been for many years, but the price is very high.

The front desk staff was friendly and smiley. The room smelled of cigarettes, but the smell disappeared after I sprayed the provided deodorant. When I tried to take a shower, the hot water didn't come out, so it was cold until it came out. There were many outlets and an air purifier, so it was comfortable. I thought the breakfast buffet could have been a little more varied, but it was delicious.

I was happy to receive welcome fruit. The room was spacious and well-equipped for the price. It felt basic, but it was reasonably clean. There were two hairdryers, but one of them would periodically switch from hot to cold, and the other had a hole in the filter. I appreciated the abundance of amenities.

The location is excellent. The capsule was spacious enough that I was able to sleep well. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi was not very strong, and since it was at the back, it didn't connect inside the capsule, and it was also intermittent in the common areas.

This was not the best capsule room I booked. But this guesthouse has their own kitchen so you can cook and barbecue and washing machine. Good view from the lake.It also have a hot bath. Mr. H**aru is so approachable. As a solo traveler, I felt I had left a friend there. From my 4-day solo trip I am glad I went there on my last day. I will come back there. 👍

Traditional Japanese-style residence, tatami room, homestay, Chinese person in charge. You can stroll around the lake. Sound insulation is not good. Consciously keep quiet and normal work and rest. Don't disturb others.

The hotel is a ten-minute drive from Kentian Station. There is no pick-up and drop-off service. There are fewer buses to 500 meters near the hotel. It is recommended to rent to go, plus the toll of the Wuhu Bridge is about RMB 100. There are no commercial and scenic spots around. You can go to Fuyutang and Sagawa Art Museum at noon. The check-in staff are warm and thoughtful, and the service is very good in every link. The hotel rooms are all facing the lake, with a first-line lake view, floor-to-ceiling windows with a wide view, all with terraces, and you can see the sunset and sunrise of Wuhu. The facilities are a bit simpler, there is no regular safe and air purifier, these two should be a must for the hotel. The hotel's environmentally friendly style room bathroom has no spare parts and the front desk can provide it. The bathroom does not have dry and wet separation. What is worse is that the space is large but you need to stand in the bathtub to take a bath. For me, I have to wash it first and then take a bath. It is uncomfortable to wait for the water to be released. There is no overall bathroom. The air conditioner is quiet, the bedding is average, the curtains are full of light, the night is transparent, the necessary blindfold, the design is a bit rough in the details of the Hoshino world, but all this can be compensated by the lake view.
