Hotel Dengan bar di Basque Country, Spanyol

It's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details. 1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off). 2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV. 3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time. And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT 3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?). 4) We get a fan to cool down. 5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective). This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating. P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea) The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

Nice and clean room for 3. The room with the terrace is perfect for sunset. It’s easy to the beach in walking a short distance.

On m'a demandé une bonne dizaine de fois si j'étais cliente de l'hôtel car c'était pendant le festival du film. J'avais l'impression de les déranger car j'étais là en simple cliente et non comme invitée du festival. Ou ma tête ne devait pas leur revenir... Quand on paie un hôtel 2 fois plus cher qu'en temps normal à cause de ce festival et qu'on a l'impression d'être un intrus constamment epié... on se dit que l'hôtel n'avait qu'à fermer ses portes aux ”simples” clients pour l'occasion.

Saya pikir sauna sudah termasuk dalam paket menginap kami, itulah mengapa saya memesan hotel ini. Ketika saya memberi tahu staf bahwa tidak ada biaya tambahan saat memesan secara online, mereka mengatakan bahwa sauna adalah bagian dari spa. Ini sangat membingungkan, seolah-olah sauna adalah bagian dari spa, mengapa disebutkan dan tidak dimasukkan di bagian spa? Spa dan sauna berbeda, dan jika ada biaya, itu harus disebutkan. Selain itu, semuanya luar biasa. Mereka juga tidak memiliki biaya terpisah untuk sauna saja! Saya hanya ingin menggunakan pusat kebugaran dan sauna, tetapi tidak ada spa! Tidak ada kemungkinan untuk memesan sauna tanpa spa. Biayanya sekitar 20 euro per akses, bukan per hari, yang menurut saya terlalu mahal, terutama karena Anda sudah memesan kamar di hotel dan sudah membayar! Sekali lagi, staf tidak menunjukkan fleksibilitas, pilihannya adalah membayar sesuatu yang tidak akan digunakan atau Anda tidak akan mendapatkannya! Akhirnya saya tidak jadi memesan karena saya tidak ingin menggunakan spa, dan saya pikir itu terlalu mahal (20 euro) untuk penggunaan sauna selama 15 menit saja.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and service exceeded our expectations. The hotel provided seamless airport pick-up and drop-off, making our travel stress-free. Choose the hotel for its proximity to the Intermodal bus interchange. We walked to all the main tourist attractions from the hotel. Bilbao is a very walkable city. What sets this hotel apart is the friendliness of the staff. The front counter team is genuinely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Noemi who went out of her way to help us and gave advice on airline lost luggage. The room is spacious for our needs. The king bed is super comfortable, with just the right firmness. Linen is plush and pillows are fluffy. It has a simple yet functional tea-making facility in the room. The room came with USB charger by bedside, which is essential for today's travellers. We love the bathroom. Well-lit, full-size shower with strong water pressure. You will find the basic amenities (Toothbrush etc) in the bathroom. The cleaner did a good job with the room. The hall and public areas are all spotless. Judging based on the interior, the hotel might have been refurbished not that long ago.
