The place and the location is amazing. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains and you can enjoy watching the sea of clouds from the deck. The staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Internet connection is only provided at the lobby and near the waiting areas which is a bit slow. I hope they’ll provide internet in their guest rooms. It gets cold at night in the mountains, I do hope they will provide warmer quilts rather than the small sheets they have and not charge their guests for an extra blanket. Overall, it was a great stay though I woke at the middle of the night a bit cold needing some more blankets.

Nice people and clean hostel - well positioned just 10 minutes walk from 'town'. Let the hostel know in advance of your arrival time and date and they'll meet you where the coaches arrive. Keep in mind, impossible to get food after around 9PM in this town - nothing open - including all shops. Zero bars and nightlife open past 9PM or so!

The place is just so-so. The attendant did not know the reservation prior. The water was very slow and when the heater is on, the power outlets don't work. The door knob was broken. I was told there will be two double beds but what we had was a double bed with a single pull out bed. The bonfire costs 250 pesos where they told us AFTER the bonfire. Free coffee though

Pros: 1. Convenient location – just within the Session Road area. 2. Very close to SM Baguio shopping mall. 3. 7-Eleven is right across the street. 4. Surrounded by restaurants and dining options. 5. Comfortable bed and pillows. 6. Fresh linens and clean bath towels provided. 7. Amenities included: shampoo, body wash, tissue, dental kits (toothbrush and toothpaste), and slippers. 8. Quiet and peaceful environment  great for resting. 9. Hot shower available. 10. Clean room and bathroom. 11. Friendly and accommodating front desk staff. 12. Hassle-free check-in process. Cons: • Water pressure in the bathroom during the morning was a bit weak. I couldn’t take a proper bath because of it. Overall:
 Everything was perfect! I honestly didn’t expect the place to be this nice and peaceful. Great value and experience.

The location is down a steep hill, but quiet except for the contraction works early in the morning. The WiFi and data were very poor, especially at night.. The checkout took too long as we wanted to leave early for manila, and the in room drinks were a bit pricey.

it is technically walking from sm baguio. Restaurant is available in the ground floor. The room is exactly the same as shown in the description. Wifi is great and with the smart tv in room we watched movies in netflix with no lag specially since we are stuck in the room due to typhoon Paeng. Will definitely rebook.

This was my first time in Badat Village and I stayed at the Batad Transient House for 5 nights. The view from the hotel was spectacular and the hostel family were all very kind and nice. The food was also very delicious. The owner of the hostel has lived in Japan for his job as a care worker and can speak a little Japanese. He will arrange various tours and massages for you if you ask. The massage was the best and felt so good that it soothed my tired body from all the walking and helped me sleep soundly. If you stay here, please give it a try!! I highly recommend it!! It was rice planting season at the time, so I asked the hostel staff to organize a half-day rice planting tour for me, which was a lot of fun.
