I am writing to provide feedback on our recent stay at your hotel. While the location was excellent, we found that the hotel itself was in need of some improvements. Firstly, I would like to highlight the positive aspect of our stay, which was the great location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near various attractions and amenities, allowing us to easily explore the area. This was definitely a major advantage during our visit. However, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. The rooms appeared to be in need of a deep cleansing, as there were noticeable stains on the carpets and walls. Additionally, the furniture and fixtures seemed worn out and outdated. A fresh coat of paint and new beds would greatly enhance the overall appearance and comfort of the rooms. Furthermore, we found the lack of a welcoming lobby person to be quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were not greeted or assisted by any staff members. This lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome and left a negative impression. In conclusion, while the location of the hotel was excellent, we believe that improvements are necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. A thorough cleaning, along with updates to the rooms and furniture, would greatly improve the comfort and aesthetics of the hotel. Additionally, having a friendly and welcoming lobby person would contribute to a more positive and enjoyable stay. P.S. positive side- I truly appreciate the staff at the hotel who made the effort to move us to a more convenient floor. Additionally, it's always a pleasant experience when the breakfast lady is friendly and accommodating. (No elevator/lift) (I paid too much for 3nights so I was expecting a good place to relax after 27hours of travelling with a toddler).

The location is quite convenient. The room for 3 people (2 beds) is okay, not too small, and not too dirty. Shower room is a bit small but clean. There is a kitchen, microwave and sink. Overall I’m good with this stay.

Bayswater
In the London neighbourhood of Bayswater, in zone 1, getting here from Central London on bus 23, is a nice bus ride to see big buildings. The hostel has a TV and a DVD reader to play music, there are plenty of tables and chairs. I slept in bed 1 in room 93, which had 16 bunk beds. At night I stayed on my bed using the WiFi with my light on. In the morning I had the breakfast provided, which I got free because I gave the hostel a review.

Hotel is well kept and clean. Very close to earls court station. Few minutes walk away. Only problem encountered, no means of turning on the aircon and we styaed at the basement.
Hotel Lily
5.5/546 Reviews
The Lily hotel is located very close to West Bromoton underground station and as such is a really great site for travelling to central London on either the district and central lines. The Piccadilly line can be accessed just one stop from West Brompton also and this line connects Heathrow airport to central London. So you feel very close to all of London but saving the cost of staying in an expensive London Hotel. The Lily hotel gives good value for money for those on a tight budget. At the time of my booking it was one of tge lowest prices for a hotel excluding all the hostels. The service was great. A friendly guy on the check in desk and all staff were friendly and pleasant to me duting my stay. There areno amenities at this hotel but along the road either way from the hotel are restaurants and takeaways. Therewas a convenience shop quiteclose too which soldmost items you wouldneed. At night, the main road outside could be noisy due to traffic and emergency vehicles sirens. There are also two pubs near the hotel which could be noisy too at weekends. However, the noise didn't seem to be a problem after midnight. If you prefer less road–street noise, try to ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The hotel room was good not great but exactly as you should expect from a hotel of this price. There are no toiletries in the room but I always bring my own anyway. The beds wereclean and generallky the room was clean. However, the shelf and chair under the desk had dust and food crumbs which was extremely bad to see. The room was made up after my first night and the chair and shelf were still not cleaned. see photos. I dont want to complain about the cleaners who were very pleasant and helpful but I do hope the hotel could improve its quality control with regards to room cleanliness. Another problem was a light fitting that was hanging of the bed headboard with electric cables exposed. See photos.Would I stay here again? Yes I would and recommend thos hotel for a cheap stay in London.

Marylebone
Great place, cheap, good location. Could do with having the full ingredients for the meals they provide. Place looks dated, things need to be fixed and stocked up with better quality toilet paper and also no shower gels etc. Can be a tight squeeze in some toilets and the stairwell as well as having to take our own luggage down in the basement.
St Christopher's Inn Camden

The hostel's entrance is within the Bar called Belushis, this is again shared for the hostel's reception and hostel's breakfast area. The bar is described as sport themed on their website, but I would say it's more of an alternative music theme instead, as the decor in the toilets, the passage and stage area are fitted with them type of posters. I arrived on a Sunday at around 7:30pm, there was a blonde Irish musician playing a guitar and singing, there were also playing womens' soccer on the 6 TV screens, but every one I saw was watching the musician. The ambience was very lively and enjoyable, as the musician was there and had good encouragement skills, when small~talking in between each song. St Christopher's Inn's check in desk was located next to Belushis's (drinks) bar, a small gap made it a detached unit, the bar tender was also the hostel's receptionist. A photo of your passport is suffice, for the required identification when checking in. (Do not try to use a railcard or an annual bus pass, as these 2 forms of photographic identification are not acceptable.) It's compulsory to pay a refundable £2 lending fee for the key card, which they give back when you give back their key card. Once in the hostel I explored, their entertainment room is called the 'Chill Out Room', the room is big with a big TV screen, the TV is connected to the Internet and is also an (internet) browser. There are also lots of movie DVDs and some boxed party games. There are 2 padded sofas and 2 padded armchairs, a kitchen including a kettle, attached to this room is an additional room for lockers. The dormitory I was allocated to had 12 beds, including 1 shower and 2 wash basins. (Out of the dormitory) beside the corridor there were 2 individual toilet rooms. The morning after I had breakfast, it's an affordable price of £6, which has a big selection of foods and is all self serviced.

The bedroom and bathroom are quite narrow. There is almost no place to put it. Strong water, free WiFi, but in the room the signal is not good, there is no TV, but overall good, near the train station. Near a mini-mart, suitable for Backpackers..When sleeping late at night, you can hear the sound of people opening and closing doors, the sound of people walking, disturbing when sleeping.

St Christopher's Greenwich
7.8/599 Reviews
St Christopher's Inn Greenwich is the first hostel I lodged when I first got to the United Kingdom in February 2023 and this prompted me to book the place again this year. The cleaners and some members of staff were very nice and respectful but a short lady was very rude to me. She is light in colour and I have her picture. I approached her to make some enquiries but she insulted and made derogatory statements to me. She even shouted at me and was very rude. I was embarrassed by her actions and just left the lady. She pierced her ears and was on duty around 1.30pm on Monday 26th February. Her actions depicts someone who is frustrated and I don't expect the lady to be pouring her anger on customers. What I avoided was confrontation with her because I am a gentle person who doesn't like unnecessary arguments with people. But I feel lodgers deserve some form of respect which for me is reciprocal.
