Review of a First-Time Trip to Singapore
🌟 4 Days 3 Nights in Singapore: A Small City with a Big Heart and Endless Charm! 🇸🇬💛
Hello everyone~ Today, I’m excited to share my delightful experience from my recent trip to a country that everyone says is "a must-visit." Now I understand why people say that… Yes! That country is Singapore 🎡✨
This small, clean, and safe country near home is packed with unique attractions, from indoor waterfalls and floating malls to sky gardens and cloud-piercing buildings. Even the chicken rice here is amazing! (Seriously!) 😂
⸻
✈️ DAY 1: Hello Singapore~ Falling in love with the airport!
We departed from Don Mueang Airport, and after a little over 2 hours, we arrived at Changi Airport, which is often hailed as the most beautiful airport in the world—and it truly is! 💖
Changi isn’t just an ordinary airport; it’s a landmark in itself, especially the Jewel Changi Airport with its Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world 🌧️🪴. It’s absolutely stunning! The misty waterfall with light streaming through the curved glass feels like a scene from a Hollywood movie.
We spent time relaxing, taking photos, and wandering around the Shiseido Forest Valley, a real indoor garden. We also tried Auntie Anne’s pretzels, which gave us an international vibe but smelled like home. 555
Afterward, we took the MRT into the city using an EZ-Link card. The MRT here is super clean, air-conditioned throughout, and as comfortable as Japan’s trains 🎫🚇.
That night, we stayed in the Bugis area, a central location with convenient transportation, lots of malls, and cafes. Photography lovers will adore this area for its many picturesque spots.
⸻
🌼 DAY 2: Merlion – Gardens by the Bay – Marina Bay Sands 🦁🌉🌸
We woke up with excitement because today was all about landmarks! Starting with Merlion Park, we greeted the iconic lion statue spouting water 🦁💦. Seeing it in person was surprisingly moving, even though I’ve seen it countless times in photos.
Across the park is Marina Bay Sands, famous for its luxurious accommodations (but you can enjoy the view for free, haha). The morning view here is fantastic, with gentle breezes, boats passing by, and sunlight reflecting off the glass buildings—so sparkly! ✨
Next, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, home to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Missing these would be a huge regret!
• 🌺 Flower Dome: Features vibrant flowers from around the world, with themes that change every season.
• ⛅ Cloud Forest: Includes a towering indoor waterfall! The interior is cool and refreshing, and you can walk up the skywalk for a high-angle view.
After soaking in the beauty, we explored the mall beneath Marina Bay Sands and went up to the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck. The view from up there is breathtaking—you can see the entire city island. If you visit in the evening, you’ll catch the sunset and city lights, which are indescribably beautiful! 🌇
⸻
🎠 DAY 3: Universal Studios Singapore – Fun for all ages!
Today was our "kid-at-heart" day as we ventured to USS (Universal Studios Singapore) on Sentosa Island 🎡🎬.
From the moment we entered, we were greeted by roller coasters, laughter, and movie soundtracks—it felt like stepping into a cinematic world 🎞️.
• My favorite was Transformers The Ride, which made me feel like I was part of an action-packed chase scene.
• Revenge of the Mummy was thrillingly dark and intense!
• Of course, we took tons of photos with Minions, Madagascar characters, and Shrek.
We walked until our legs were sore but couldn’t stop laughing. If you’re visiting as a couple, there are plenty of sweet moments, like holding hands while screaming on rides—romance in the battlefield 🤣❤️.
In the evening, we returned to Clarke Quay, a lively riverside area perfect for a relaxing dinner by the water, browsing souvenir shops, or taking a boat ride to admire the city.
⸻
🛍️ DAY 4: Shopping, eating, and flying home with a full heart 💛
On our last morning, we visited Chinatown to shop for souvenirs like tea, boxed snacks, magnets, keychains, postcards, and handmade items from local designers 🍵📮.
We also tried the legendary chicken rice at Maxwell Food Centre (Tian Tian Chicken Rice). The chicken was tender, the rice fragrant, and the sauce flavorful—so good I wanted a second serving 🍗.
Before heading home, we went back to Jewel (again!) and indulged in Llaollao yogurt with fruit jelly, which was so delicious it made my eyes widen. I wished I could bring some back to Thailand 😋✈️.
⸻
🌈 Impressions I want to share
✨ The city is impeccably clean—everywhere feels polished 😅.
✨ Easy to navigate with clear signs and an intuitive MRT system—you won’t get lost.
✨ Singaporeans are kind and helpful, especially when I couldn’t find my way.
✨ Green spaces are abundant, making the city feel fresh even in the urban center.
✨ Food is delicious and surprisingly affordable, especially at food courts.

💌 Final thoughts
Singapore is a small country that made me fall in love with every step I took. It’s clean, safe, filled with kind people, and offers attractions that blend nature, technology, and urban life seamlessly.
If you’ve never been, give it a chance—you’ll discover how this small city can bring a big smile to your face 😊.
Thank you, Singapore, for filling my heart with joy. I’ll definitely come back again 💖🧸🌷.
The most worth spending money in Singapore, overlooking the whole city from sunset to dusk to night, it is said that the paper is drunk and gold fans here, but in fact, the real life in Singapore is also flat, people are also working hard to live better.
The Sands SkyPark Observation Deck offers an unforgettable view from 200 meters above Marina Bay Sands. Located on the 56th floor, it provides sweeping panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline, including Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, and the bustling Marina Bay area. It’s the perfect spot to catch a breathtaking sunset or enjoy the city lights after dark. The deck is open to the public (note: the Infinity Pool is for hotel guests only), and visitors can enhance their experiences.
It is recommended to arrive between 6:30 and 7:00. You can see the evening and night scenery of Singapore's Marina. The night view is beautiful. From the Sands Shopping Center, follow the signs. It is very convenient to book tickets on Trip.com .
In the afternoon, we took a bus to the Jinsha Hotel in Binhai Bay. When we arrived, we found the entrance of Tower 1 Hotel directly. We took the elevator to the restaurant on the 57th floor of the highest floor for afternoon tea. Here is also through reading the strategy of netizens to recommend the selected tour items. The strategy of netizens mentioned - ""Jinsha Hotel 57 floor on this side is SKY ON 57, on the other side is Italian food, in the middle is the endless swimming pool. There is no communication between them. This afternoon tea set is a good deal, with invincible landscapes and super delicacies. So, if you want to enjoy the beauty of the endless pool without the high accommodation fee of MBS, you can come to SKY ON 57 afternoon tea. " After our practice, we feel that it is really worthwhile and worth recommending. The two-person afternoon tea costs 78 NT dollars plus 17% tax. Although the price is not expensive, it includes goose liver sauce steamed buns and cappuccino fresh mushroom soup, as well as refreshments with exquisite arrangement and a wide variety of refreshments, and tea, fresh milk (or coffee) are available in unlimited quantities. More importantly, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Singapore's coastal bay. Eating snacks, drinking tea, looking at the scenery, talking about feelings, unconsciously the time passed. In the meantime, we went to the outdoor balcony for many times to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Singapore. The fish tail lion park under our feet was ripple, the coastal bay garden behind us was lush and lush, the high-rise buildings in the distance were beautiful, the city's elevated momentum was magnificent, as well as the distant harbour docks and the broad sea surface, which were really endless to see and forget to return. Finally, I used the Huaxia debit card to pay 91.8 new coins, equivalent to about 440 yuan, which is a very luxurious consumption, but finally I think it is really worth visiting.
This is the best place to overlook Singapore's beautiful scenery. That's right. This is the Sky Garden on the 57th floor of Jinsha. It's absolutely worth 23 NT to climb up and see how beautiful the garden city is. The endless swimming pool is another bright spot of the Sky Garden. Unfortunately, only the residents can use it!
Friends who want to go to the top floor of Sands to enjoy the scenery, please pay attention to this paragraph I wrote: Sands Hotel has a good location and is a popular online celebrity, so the price is not cheap. If you stay in the hotel, you can experience the popular swimming pool on the top floor, which is naturally a benefit. However, if you don’t live here and want to come to the top floor to enjoy the scenery of Marina Bay, you have to go to the underground ticket office to buy tickets separately. The price is not cheap. If you have an ICBC gold card or above credit card, then the free benefits are here. You can find a service counter in the Sands Shopping Center, preferably with Chinese service. Then the service staff will register a top-level Sands membership account for you. Without any consumption, you will be given several free tickets to surrounding tours, including the Sky Garden Observation Deck on the roof of Sands, and more than one ticket, which is suitable for the whole family. For people like me who play alone, I use one ticket each day and night to see different scenery [grin], and you can also use this card to exchange for several free passes at the Science and Art Museum next to it. It’s a very good big wool. I don’t know how long the event will last. There are many Chinese people with ICBC cards, and the threshold is low. Don’t miss this benefit.
Singapore's Kinshasa Sky Garden spans the top of three hotels like a giant surfboard. More than 250 trees and more than 650 plants were planted in this expensive aerial garden. Standing on the viewing platform of the Sky Garden, you can overlook the magnificent beauty of Singapore's cities. The most amazing thing is that the aerial swimming pool in the Sky Garden is the largest outdoor swimming pool in the world.
It's exciting to be on the top view of Jinshawan Hotel. This aerial garden is very beautiful. Besides the swimming pool with or without marginal design, there is also an ornamental platform. Here you can enjoy the beauty of the South China Sea and the modern high-rise buildings in Singapore.
