A somewhat cold welcome at the entrance, but the self-guided tour with audio guide was very informative, and the walk through the wine cellars was simply brilliant. The audio guide taught us a great deal about the history and production of port wine. The subsequent port wine tasting in a beautiful garden was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous day with Pedro our guide. Easy going and attentive to all on the tour. Made up for a slightly delayed start due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control by his accomplished driving skills. The tour itself was fantastic. The Douro Valley is breathtaking and the wineries we visited were wonderful. Highly recommended!

Our guide was Tamara and the tour started with watching a brief 10 minutes video describing the history of the Grahm’s and Symington’s and the wine yards, the intricacies of the climate and the production process. Afterwards, we had a tour of the wine cellar and ended up with pairing tasting. All in all, very informative and enjoyable experience, highly recommend.


