We had a great tour. Our guide was Kevin. He worked really hard to insure that we had a good time. And we did. I highly recommend this tour. They really cared about us. The Great Wall can’t be accurately described in words. You just have to see it. We spent two hours walking on it. We planned for one. There is too much to see. Kevin didn’t miss a beat. He was just happy for us. Great tour! Kevin was the best guide we can imagine.★

This tour is an amazing way to see the Great Wall straight from Tianjin port. We disembarked from the Royal Caribbean cruise and our driver, Zhao, was happily waiting for us and drove us with our luggage to the Great Wall in a comfortable van. Thanks to the tour, we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Great Wall along with the cable car views. We liked that we were able to do shopping in-between and have time to eat as per Zhao's suggestion, before trekking up the Great Wall. It was not a bad hike at all! It was in fact very comfortable and bearable. We bonded and enjoyed Zhao's companionship, his fun facts about China, and wholeheartedly recommend this tour, we definitely felt like VIPs. He safely made sure we were checked in to our Beijing hotel too. This tour was 10/10 for us, excellent service.★

Reviews: Private Tianjin Shore Excursion to Binhai Library and Shopping

Tour guide Kris was a fun guide and I enjoyed her stories of life in China. The Binhai Library was an interesting library catering more to tourists than scattered studious patrons. Photos of the library include book edges that are printed on the shelves as well as actual books. A respectable English book section was available for those planning a deeper dive into the library’s content but keep in mind that it may be locked as it was when I visited. You can request that it be opened. The library is located in a Plaza with shops and 2 museums. We stopped by the Science Museum and I especially enjoyed the space exploration exhibits. The market we visited was a typical flea market that I would see at home in the US. Many open booths. I bought a few things for the fun of it and enjoyed the haggling between the shop owners and Kris. Good tour to spend on a Sunday after hitting other highlights in Tianjin during the week.★
