What an amazing day! I took this tour with Paddywagon Tours. Kevin was our guide. He was knowledgeable and interacted with the passengers in a playful way. This experience was a highlight. I absolutely loved the horse and cart ride through Killarney National Park. Kevin highly suggested this and was glad he did! The views throughout were gorgeous. We went to Watertown for lunch. Kevin suggested a great place that was set up for tours, but he kept reminding us it was our holiday! 💚. We also had stops to look at Dingle Bay, Cahhersiveen, and to see the Torc Waterfall. Kevin engaged us in a sing along too! It was really quite a fun adventure.★

My family of 2 adults, 18 yr old and 13 ye old tour the Jameson tour and tasting. We had a great time and the facility was very modern and comfortable.
The tour lasts about 1 hour and is informative and the guide is interactive with the guests.
At the end we did a tasting with 3 different whiskeys (Jameson 3yr, White Spot, and Red Breast (sherry cask). I personally loved the red breast the most and took home 2 bottles from the gift shop. Like many of the offerings in the distillery bar and gift shop, you can only purchase them on site as they are not sold at retail anywhere else.
The also offer a private bottling experience if you are interested with a limited black label jameson. We opted to not purchase as the whisley was a tad too hot for my palate (higher proof).
We had lunch at the distillery restaurant before the tour and they had nice options and you could move through lunch fairly quick. They offer sandwhiches, soups, quiche, etc
I highly recommend this tour wnd making the stop to have a whisley even if you dont have time for the tour. What a neat place!★

Fascinating place to visit, got the bus up due to it being quite hilly but walked it back following google maps but was easy enough. We walked around with the guidebook that was provided very interesting to read the different stories of the prisoners and why they were there and for how long. Very good interactive items to have a go at too. Would definitely recommend
