The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo: This stay was in the Carlton Suite, the hotel's junior suite. Spanning 120 square meters in the premium Roppongi district, this space is nothing short of luxurious. By day, enjoy panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji; by night, take in the dazzling skyline of Asia's top metropolis. 🚗 Though opened over 17 years ago, some hardware has been updated—dual 65-inch SONY TVs with TV capabilities earn high praise! Fully separate dual vanities and strong water pressure in the bathroom deliver an excellent shower experience. #Titanium members and above in Tokyo can currently choose breakfast (or opt for points: 2,000 for Titanium, 2,500 for Ambassador). The breakfast is semi-buffet + à la carte. Due to the Golden Week holiday, Japanese breakfast wasn’t available, but I later enjoyed it at ED. The quality meets Ritz-Carlton’s high standards, with outstanding pastry offerings. 🏫 Overall service is excellent—evening turndown is meticulous, and midday room tidying was a pleasant surprise, living up to its status as Asia’s flagship. In Midtown’s first floor, there’s an RC Café combining a patisserie, coffee shop, and lion merchandise sales. It gets quite busy in the afternoon. 🌆 While the Tokyo Tower view is now gone (Azabudai Hills, give us back our Tokyo Tower!!), occupying the top nine floors of Roppongi’s upscale Midtown complex, this luxurious hotel still holds unique charm, especially with Tokyo’s breathtaking nightscape. Yes, our view is the best in Tokyo!
