Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao Temple (Radiant Temple)

Wat Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao, or popularly known as Wat Rueang Saeng, is located in Sirindhorn District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. It is ranked as one of the top 10 recommended tourist attractions. The temple is located on a high hill, imitating the environment of the Himmapan Forest or Mount Kailash. On the top of the hill, you can see the golden chapel standing out majestically. The chapel is modeled after Wat Xieng Thong in Laos, but is one time wider and twice as long. Each pillar is hand-painted, with lotus and animal patterns around it, according to the four lotus tradition.
