Mount Rinjani: Breathtaking Views, Unforgettable Sunrise, and Exhausted Legs! ⛰️🌅😅

#summervacay I descended Mount Rinjani last night, and looking back at the photos from the climb, I can't help but smile. The hardships endured are already fading, but the sheer emotion of witnessing that sunrise will forever be etched in my memory. Tears streaming down my face at the sight of such beauty isn't a first for me, but this was certainly the most unrestrained. Those around me were a bit surprised but also completely understood. After all, this climb was exceptionally tough. The two-day, one-night itinerary was quite extreme, even for someone like me who regularly engages in outdoor activities. Day 1: Meadows, Forests, and Unsung Heroes Day 1 offered sweeping views of alpine meadows and dense forests. Knowing I drink a lot of water, I carried 10 liters, treating it as weighted training. Picture 2: Shows the path leading to the entrance. Pictures 3-4: Capture the beauty of the vast alpine meadows. Picture 5: My teammate from California, a true wilderness enthusiast. I initially thought he was just posing by helping a porter carry a load, but he actually carried it barefoot all the way to the 2630m campsite! Truly impressive. Picture 6: The porters work incredibly hard, carrying tents, water, and food to the campsite. Many of them are young and hike barefoot or in flip-flops. So, fellow hikers, don't overthink your hiking shoe choice – any hiking shoe is perfectly fine! Night at the Campsite We camped at the 2630m site that night.
