Why wouldn't you visit? 😍 🏛️ About the Okinawa Prefectural Museum & Art Museum ▫️ Designed by architect Shinji Noze, inspired by ancient Ryukyu castles ▫️ Winner of the 2008 Japan Institute of Architects Award ▫️ The museum houses approximately 94,000 artifacts, while the art museum features around 3,700 pieces ▫️ The museum is divided into five exhibition halls: General, Natural History, Archaeology, Fine Arts & Crafts, and Folklore ▫️ The art museum primarily showcases works by Okinawan artists and hosts regular special exhibitions 🖤 Tips for Visiting ▫️ On the left side before entering the main entrance, you'll find displays of traditional Ryukyu granaries and houses ▫️ Tickets can be purchased on the right side of the entrance, while audio guides can be borrowed on the left ▫️ Audio guides are available in five languages (Chinese, Japanese, English, Korean, and Spanish) and come with a map and a pen for interactive use
