(The 1,000 yen bill features Hideyo Noguchi.) It is actually located beyond Nakanokura Pass, about a 30-minute walk from Lake Motosu. On this day, Mt. Fuji was covered in clouds, but the view was very good and there were not many people around, so we were able to enjoy the view relatively freely.
