#Bangkok attractions On a free day like this, I invited my mother and friends to "pay homage at Wat Rakhang Khositaram", a famous temple on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the heart of Bangkok. Every time I visit, I feel full of merit. I started by paying homage to the large and sacred Luang Pho To statue of the temple to bring good fortune and peace to my life. Then, I didn't miss the chance to visit the sacred holy water well at the back — it is believed to be the water of kindness from the monk. Whoever rubs or sprinkles the water on their body will have their fortunes smoothed out. It is very suitable for praying for health and success. After we were full of merit, we walked through the temple gates and crossed to the other side, which is Wang Lang Market — a source of delicious food that real foodies must know! For this meal, we ordered "Khao Soi, my regular shop," and ended with iced green tea from a small cafe on the side of the road.
