This is the cheapest hotel in downtown Bahamas that I booked. I went there without any expectations, but since it is run by the same Asian woman and locals, I think I was able to stay more comfortably from an Asian perspective. Not only that, everything was within a 10-minute walk from downtown, and in the evening, the fireworks from the cruise were so good that I watched it like an event. The owner personally cleaned and managed the entire hotel, so the bathroom was very clean, and I found out later that they even provided bread, milk, and eggs for simple meals. They also have an air fryer, oven, etc., so it would be nice to cook in the expensive Bahamas! The hotel facilities were nice, and there were chairs and tables so that I could eat outside, so I ate dinner there. The owner came and took pictures for me. Lastly, they gave me a souvenir before I left. I was so grateful that they gave me a mug, a T-shirt, and a hat, and if I come back to the Bahamas, I think I will stay here again! This is the kind of place I will stay! Actually, when Koreans come to the Bahamas, most of them come for honeymoons and stay at very expensive hotels, but if you are a couple like us or come with friends, I recommend this hotel! The hotel staff knows a taxi driver, so they give you a cheaper price than other taxi drivers. (Bahamian taxis are really crazy expensive... They give you a price that is 5-10 dollars cheaper than other places!)
Lonah is an asset to the business, fantastic communication pre and during our stay. We stayed in Abacus cottage which was lovely and comfortable and had modern facilities and excellent AC. We used the kayak which was great and enjoyed our time on the sun beds and soaking in the warm sea. Lonah provided excellent tips for places to visit and eat out at, we especially like NRG, turn right at the road and carefully cross the road and go past Swiss Pastry shop and NRG is upstairs within the next shops, sells tasty shakes and wonderful wraps, shrimp and chicken being our favourites, Social Sushi & Johnny Canoe Cafe great for evening food and close by. During our stay in Bahamas we have continued to use Lonah’s suggested taxis contact - Big Mama (aka Leona), she is great and very knowledgeable, we are still using here now. Jitney bus has to be experienced and can either be caught from a bus stop or you just wave at the driver and they will stop, $1.50 per person, Fish Fry approx. 15 mins away on the bus, downtown approx 25mins depending on traffic.
We would recommend to all to stay at Blue Ocean Village as you can enjoy the deserted beach away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau, but still easily access it via Jitney or private taxis.
Thanks Lonah for making our stay perfect!

Our room was very close to the elevators. Therefore it was a bit noisy. The room itself was spacious and comfortable.
A negative point was the ac in the hotel. All places like bars, restaurants and reception had really “arctical” temperatures. You really need a jacket there. This makes the stay uncomfortable. Some reception people could also improve little bit there behavior.
These are very small apartments, but nevertheless quite comfortable for spending a few days in Nassau if you are passing through.
Quiet area. Shops and fast food cafes are a 10-15 minute walk away. It will be much more convenient for your stay if you have a rented car. There is plenty of parking space for him right in front of the house.
Large bathroom with shower and washbasin. The kitchen is equipped, there are pots and pans and a capsule coffee machine, which can also be used for brewing tea bags. Coffee, tea, dishwashing and hand washing liquid - everything is also available. Impeccable cleanliness everywhere inside the house. There is a small green lawn in the backyard, but it is not equipped for recreation.
What’s unexpected is that there is no table in the house for eating, but there are two folding tables for a mobile computer that can be converted into dining tables. There is very little space in the living room and you will have to be careful not to knock over anything.
The bed needs repair or replacement. The mattress, although a little narrow for two adults of average build, is of good quality. But the bed frame itself has long been in need of replacement or repair.
The hostess will find you by phone in advance and leave the necessary and clear instructions on how to find and get into the house. And also organizes a meeting and seeing off, if necessary.
And although we briefly and inattentively read the reviews, we made a mistake in choosing the area and apartments; we wanted a busier place and more spacious conditions inside, but all the inconveniences were compensated by concern for our comfort!
Bottom line. Housing is more suitable for students or single travelers with a rented car at their disposal, accustomed to the American way of life. Outstanding hospitality will be a great bonus!

Beside a daily tax fee of $55, that was never mention, they put a hold on my card for $200. A day for amenities or daily charges, TOTAL $800 BUCKS MANDATORY. I was not on property to use any unless it was to sleep in my room. So on check out they informed me it would be FIVE TO TEN BUSINESS DAY BEFORE THEY RELEASED MY $800 DEPOSIT. Now they have had my money for five days & now they want to keep it for another FIVE TO TEN DAYS.. WHO DOES THAT???

The hotel room was ok, although it was close to the beach but the room did not feel very humid. The facilities in the room are old and the hair dryer in our room is a bit sticky. Breakfast options are relatively small. There are meats, eggs, bread, coffee, water, fruits, milk and oatmeal, which are almost the same. Five minutes walk from Atlantis Hotel, really close. With the room card and pink card given by the hotel, you can enter the water park of Atlantis. Still very convenient. From Nassau's airport, take a taxi to this hotel for about 45 dollars, 30 minutes. Personally, I do n’t think it ’s necessary to rent a car on Paradise Island.
Not far from the airport, but also need to call a car, this is the best hotel in the Bahamas this time, better than the countryt of dt, the same price should be the best, this hotel was temporarily booked on the same day, because staying The airbnb on Pig Island is too bad, so I decided that the home looked good, and Ctrip had no comment, so I planned to gamble. I arrived early in the day, but I also checked in early. If the fee is about two thousand RMB per night, I paid almost a hundred dollars in tax when I checked out. Unfortunately, I did not experience the swimming pool behind the hotel. It looks very good. The stay is very comfortable, there is a balcony, the decoration is quite new, it is recommended to experience, there is a casino downstairs, did not go.
As a Chinese student, I traveled to the Bahamas alone and stayed in this hotel for 3 consecutive days. I can comment on it.
1. The hotel has complete resort facilities, including an exclusive beach (a little embarrassing, and next to the dock where the boats are parked, the location is very embarrassing hh) Several swimming pools are connected together, you can rent towels and lounge chairs, there are hot springs (yyds!), small bars, and chess, table tennis and other games in the lobby
2. Among the three restaurants, I recommend the buffet on the right the most. You can eat whatever you want in the morning, noon and evening. The dishes are not repeated every day, and they are very delicious. The curry fried rice and cube pasta are very fragrant.
3. What I remember most is the welcome drink in the small bar in the lobby, one yellow and one red. The yellow one should be juice, which is very delicious. I drink it as soon as I go downstairs, and drink at least 1 liter every day. The red one is juice wine, which has a little alcohol taste and is also very nice!
4. There are really not many people in this hotel, so the per capita holiday resources will be very rich. For example, I never have to fight for a lounge chair. Sometimes I can enjoy a whole swimming pool or hot spring alone, which is quiet. On the contrary, the Atlantis Resort is overcrowded. I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt before, and it was also overcrowded. Even if the facilities are good, the experience will be reduced due to the large number of people. So after coming to Warwick, I feel that per capita resort resources are also a very important indicator. With fewer people and quieter environment, I can maximize the experience.
4. Let me talk about the disadvantages. The room and corridor occasionally smell of detergent, and the bathtub may not be so clean. The room is a bit disappointing. I was arranged on the 3rd floor, and the view is super bad.

OOngJasmineThe Holiday Inn Express is perfect for people who want a clean and comfortable accommodation without staying at an ”all-inclusive” resort. The Bahamian culture and the Nassau area are so beautiful, and it would be a shame to lock yourself into a sealed resort where you don't really interact with locals. Service here was fantastic -- my air conditioner was misbehaving a bit on the first day, and I asked someone to come take a look, and instead they upgraded me to a larger room to make sure they had time to look at the a/c and that I didn't spend a moment being uncomfortable, which was above and beyond my expectations. They have a really tasty hot breakfast, and their snack selection, available 24 hours a day to be picked up at reception and billed to your room, is broad and includes even full microwave meals (for when you're hungry at 3am on an island with very to no overnight food places available). The prices are very, very reasonable, as well -- after snacking pretty consistently throughout my seven-day stay, I expected my snack and beer bill to get a little crazy, but it turned out to be about $20 after I ate and drank well over $20 worth of stuff. It's easy to walk to downtown and shop, book tours, etc. from here, and the beach is right across the street. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is a 5-10 minute walk away as well. Most of what I wanted to see and do was an easy commute on foot, and cabs to and from the hotel were reasonably priced, when I was way too tired. Plus, the #10 city bus runs right past it. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who are pretty independent in a new location, but also like comfort and great service. It was the perfect balance for me.
GGuest UserSo was a bit nervous after seeing reviews. This is a great hotel for the price you pay. Yes the hotel is a bit dated but everyone is super friendly and the food is great.
We stayed for New Year’s Eve and there was entertainment by the pool and a party for the evening and the buffet dinner had everything and more! The room was acceptable.
We walked to the casino in the Baha Mal and a water bottle cost $15 so for the price we paid we had water on tap!

LLizWe stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 5 nights. We loved the choice of restaurants, pools, shops, the stunning beach (definitely opt for a sea view room!)
The resort is huge. But then it’s balanced out by lots of choice. A few niggles eg. Charging extra for beds next to the pool - these were often left empty (as were all the cabanas) so felt like a waste. They high daily resort fee should cover these costs. Or just have all beds the same good quality?!
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Just missed things like… a sanitary bin by the toilet, amenities beyond shampoo and soap, no cosmetic removal pads, no spare toilet roll. No notepad and pen even - just basic amenities you’d expect in a standard resort, let alone a high end one.
All in all, it’s a fab place for couples, families with all ages of kids, it’s great for hosting work conventions - they racially have it all, all in beautiful surroundings!

AAl92Hotel location is nice, 10 min from the airport, private beach and pool etc.. however like everything else in Nassau it wasn't really worth the money. The property facilities weren't great, for €350 a night, there was a small pool bar shack with a limited selection of drinks, limited sun loungers. Our room was fine, but quite small and pretty dated. The staff were all friendly and helpful though and there are a few nice restaurants within a 5/10 minute walk. As places in Nassau go, it's nice, however don't expect value for money or luxury.
