The four of us spent about $3000, with a variety of dishes including Vietnamese cuisine, seafood, Italian, etc. We were super lucky to have found a spot upon our arrival, with no queue at all!!! We got a table 'on the rock', but you can also choose 'on the sand' or a 'garden view' table. It is recommended to reserve a table on the official website or FB at least five days in advance to be safe🤍 Before the pandemic, I used to travel to Hong Kong often. Since childhood, I've loved watching Hong Kong movies. As an adult, I've grown fond of eating Hong Kong-style dim sum. Ong Lang Beach - Phu Quoc, Vietnam
Ong Lang Beach is undoubtedly the cleanest and calmest beach in Phu Quoc Island. The place is considered as the second most popular beach in Phu Quoc. The sand is golden and soft, the water is clean, green-blue in color and there are practically no waves. Unlike the popular Long Beach, Ong Lang Beach is not crowded, and its infrastructure is less developed. There are no equipped places for walking along the sea and around the village. At the exit from Ong Lang to the main road, there is a small K+Mark supermarket and several ATMs. Visitors can dine overlooking the sea in several cafes from the hotels located on the shore. A significant part of the restaurants on Ong Lang is in the village itself, away from the sea. A five-star resort here only costs a few hundred dollars. Surprisingly, I found that the island has many Italian-style buildings and is popular with Koreans. I later learned from the locals that this is because it is visa-free for South Koreans. Phu Quoc is definitely a perfect and affordable honeymoon destination. Before heading to Phu Quoc Island, I had already sent an email to reserve a table at this restaurant and even ordered a birthday cake for my friend's birthday. However, the seaside seats are still on a first-come, first-served basis. Even if you book in advance, you need to arrive early to get a chance to sit there. We arrived at 5:30 PM that day and found that the seaside seats were already full. You really have to be quick to get a seat! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and with the beautiful sunset, the whole environment is romantic and chill. This view is definitely worth coming for! Order: Seafood Pizza ~ The taste was not bad, but one side was a bit burnt, which was a pity. Mushroom Fettuccine ~ The flavor was a bit bland, it could be more flavorful. Salt and Pepper Crispy Phu Quoc Squid ~ The best dish! The squid was flavorful, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, the texture was excellent! Pomelo Salad with Shrimp, Tamarind Sauce, and Grilled Chili ~ Very fresh, but I didn't quite understand why the pomelo was in large chunks and not broken up, it felt like eating an orange.
