A design store that completely grows on my aesthetic! Combining coffee, stationery, home goods, and miscellaneous items in one, it integrates a multi-functional exhibition hall and brand studio to create what is called a 'thought-provoking' space — 'Transcend the boundaries of life and work, and think!' Located between Harajuku and Sendagaya, Think of Things is a concept store by the Japanese stationery brand Kokuyo. The store's space is dominated by blue and white, clean and cute, displaying a variety of designer furniture and selected stationery. It's truly a paradise for stationery lovers! The coffee is made from beans roasted by Obscura Coffee Roasters in Sangenjaya. I ordered a hand-drip Costa Rica, which is full of honey aroma and a slight apple-flavored acidity, rich in fragrance. 🇯🇵 Fukuzuka Omakase experience
Itadakimasu and let me bring you to Fukuzuka, a sushi restaurant with a secret entrance in Tokyo. They are located within Shinjuku city and the nearest station is Lidabashi station. This restaurant is run by Chef Fukusuka and he is an expert in serving his curated dishes in varying temperature. They are open on selected days for dinner service so a reservation will be required. It is also easy to make a reservation via their website. But they only have like 4 limited seats at the counter so you will need to make reservations in advance. At every omakase, a menu is not presented but some chef will provide a printed menu for every guest and you can bring this menu back as souvenir. Each ingredient is specially selected and sourced domestically from other prefecture or from small farmers. This method ensures high quality ingredients for every meal. Itadakimasu and let me bring you to Sushi Hakkoku, a one-star Michelin chef restaurant in Tokyo. They are located at the vibrant Ginza in Tokyo and the nearest station is Ginza station. This restaurant is run Chef Sato who is a highly acclaimed Michelin sushi chef and now open up another sushi place. They are open on selected days for lunch and dinner service so a reservation will be required. It is a easier to make a reservation via their website. But they only have like 6 limited seats at the counter so you will need to make reservations in advance. The restaurant is a small 6-seater counter table. It is also cheaper to come here for lunch too. While waiting time is long, you will be able to taste this food which most locals eat. It is made on the spot after you order, and each table will have it served and the staff cook in front of you. Address - located in the heart of Tokyo tower and within east reach of two metro line. Around 35 min rides from Haneda Airport by train. Ambiance/Facilities - it is surrounded by a large park and the amazing Tokyo Tower up close and personal and also the temple. Car park is available as well. Highlights - it is within walking distance to the infamous Tokyo tower and also you can opt for a room with that view for a surcharge. You will not regret waking up to this wonderful view of the tower and park everyday. The hotel is also within walking distance to several convenience stores and nice cute little restaurants along the street. The day capture of the Tokyo Tower is so different from the night capture. So be sure to be back to the hotel to capture both scenes! Also onsen is available for a fee to enter and use. Avg. Price per Person - HKD 1500 per two Rating - 4 stars ** recently obtained Forbes Travel Guide 4 stars hotel for 2023

🇯🇵｜Tokyo Michelin One Star Tempura
We visited one of the top three tempura specialty restaurants in Tokyo, called "Fukamachi Tempura" . This restaurant is also a Michelin one-star restaurant, and we were lucky enough to secure a dinner reservation with head chef Masao Fukamachi. Fukamachi's tempura has a very thin batter that is not greasy at all, and it is fried and served fresh. We were surprised by the fine dining quality of the tempura. The restaurant uses two different oil temperatures for frying different ingredients, and each piece of tempura is served with a different dipping sauce to bring out the best taste and flavor of the food. There are three different set menus to choose from, and we chose the 26,000 yen option, which included high-quality ingredients such as eel and shirako. #本地遊 #urbanexplorer #foodie

I ordered two types! The berries are plain dough topped with fresh cream and berries. #celebratewithtrip I love Japan! I love Tokyo! I love Shinjuku! Shinjuku train station is very busy but I didn‘t mind since the place is realy beautiful. I am a person who really like singing and the karaoke bar we went to was just awesome! I sang my lungs out until I lost my voice the next day 😅 Shinjuku is the place to go if you enjoy nightlife and karaoke! The skyscrapers that towers the streets are gigantic and massive!
