Introduction Hong Kong Sightseeing Bus

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Experiencing bus tours in Hong Kong is a three-dimensional exploration that integrates into the city's texture. As the world-renowned home of double-decker buses, Hong Kong's bus routes run through Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories like veins, connecting bustling business districts, historical districts, and mountain and sea views, providing tourists with a dual perspective of getting close to the city's fireworks and enjoying the landmark scenery.

Take a double-decker bus, and you can appreciate the skyscrapers and reflections on both sides of the Victoria Harbour while driving slowly, or overlook the crescent-shaped beach and cascading sea views of Repulse Bay on the winding mountain road. When passing through old districts such as Sham Shui Po and Mong Kok, the shouting of the street market, the mottled light and shadow of the arcades, and the Cantonese prompts of the bus stop announcements interweave to form a vivid urban sound and picture; while the routes to Stanley and Shek O gradually transition from the bustling city to the quiet fishing village, showing the diverse landforms and life rhythms of Hong Kong.

Whether you are a first-time traveler or a deep player who loves details, Hong Kong bus tours can present the city's exquisite balance between tradition and modernity, density and openness in a friendly way, making each journey a vivid footnote to interpreting Hong Kong.

🇭🇰 Disneyland food court

You will not be able to last the entire day at Disneyland without food. It is worthwhile to check out what they are offering at Disneyland. There are many push carts selling drinks and snacks and also many specialty restaurants and food courts. If you have a chance to buy their specially curated Disney food items, you can buy it and remember to take a photo for memories. It can be pretty expensive to dine at disneyland but it is worth it. I will suggest you to bring a water bottle with you so you can fill up your bottle at their water dispenser. Also, from Disney's official website, they allow guests ro bring in personal food for self-consumption. *photos are taken before pandemic and HK is not open for travelling yet but I will be there soon :) #hkinsider #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

Hong Kong/Family vacation/Discovery Bay Hotel

Hong Kong/Family vacation/Discovery Bay Hotel

This is a secluded sea-view hotel with exotic charm, featuring a global cuisine restaurant immersed in the scenery. It is a hotel located in a retro British-style square hidden in the wealthy area of Hong Kong. Geographical location and cuisine The hotel is located in Discovery Bay on Lantau Island, just a few minutes away from the airport and Disneyland. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the theme park (reservation required), making it a great choice for families who want to enjoy a leisurely trip to Disneyland or a beach vacation without rushing. The hotel is located right next to the Discovery Bay Plaza, a European-style leisure town with a supermarket, coffee shops ☕, and various restaurants such as Mexican burritos, Thai cuisine, Korean girls, Vietnamese food, and more. The hotel is also surrounded by other attractions such as the iconic seaside church, the largest indoor amusement park in Hong Kong - "L'Hotel de Ville", the central clock tower in the square, the love lock corridor, and it's only an 8-minute drive from the hotel to the Big White Bay Beach and the nearby Tung Chung MTR station. There are too many attractions or entertainment venues around the hotel to list them all. Hotel room The bathtub in the guest rooms of this hotel is self-built and can be used as a swimming pool or hot spring after filling it with water. Children can play in it! The hotel also has a sea-view swimming pool, where you can enjoy unlimited swimming and admire the beautiful mountains and sea. Friendly reminder ⚠️ Friends~ After checking in, remember to make a reservation for breakfast time at the front desk of the first floor restaurant, because the breakfast at this hotel needs to be reserved in advance! Take the DP03P line at the hotel entrance to Xin'ao Station, then transfer to the Disney special line to reach Disneyland. When taking a taxi back, sisters should pay attention to taking the blue taxi at the entrance of the park! Because the red taxi goes to the city, the green taxi goes to the border, and the blue taxi goes to Lantau Island, so don't get in the wrong line 😉.

Hong Kong Food Review: High-Quality Peruvian Cuisine in Central District.

@chantal.jj <Hong Kong🇭🇰• Central> "Try biting me! The Peruvian cuisine is richer than I imagined." Peru is one of the places I've always wanted to visit, but I haven't been able to make it to Machu Picchu after three days and nights... What should I do? Come and try some authentic Japanese-Peruvian cuisine first, my dear 🥹. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, and I finally made it 🤍. The brunch menu is something I can freely translate. I love brunch/semi-buffet 🥹, and this branch is quite rich in variety 🫶🏻. Crudos (raw fish dishes): Salmon Tiradito - salmon slices in an appetizing sauce Mixto Ceviche - mixed raw fish Truffle Scallop - truffle and scallop bits Raw fish dishes are a must-try in Peruvian cuisine, and I especially love the Mixto Ceviche 😋. The salmon, scallops, and octopus bits mixed with Aii Amarillo chili Thousand Island dressing are very appetizing 💕. Starter: Xoxo Chicken - Peruvian-style fried chicken balls Japanese-Peruvian-style fried chicken balls, crispy and juicy, perfect with local red pepper egg yolk sauce. Tacos de Carne - wagyu beef ribeye tacos Soft and tender wagyu beef ribeye with avocado puree on top of the taco, slightly spicy, very satisfying with just one bite. Salmon Anticucho - grilled Norwegian salmon skewers Pork skewers are a thing of the past? Actually, it's grilled Norwegian salmon skewers! The meat is smooth and oily, and it goes well with the berry chili sauce! Remember to eat it while it's hot! So juicy!! Main: Sirloin de Wagyu - wagyu sirloin with red pepper egg yolk sauce Wagyu sirloin cooked with Peruvian cooking techniques, keeping the inside tender and juicy. I like to dip it in spicy egg yolk sauce for a more layered taste. Chicken Panca - classic Peruvian grilled chicken Marinated with various special spices, grilled to crispy skin, and juicy and flavorful inside! One bite and your mouth will be full of juicy meat! Dessert: Dessert Platter A rich fruit platter with cantaloupe, dragon fruit, pineapple, grapes, and a rich brownie 😍, served with berry coconut milk ice cream. We two girls chatted while eating, and we had a great weekend 🥳. Remember to 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 @chantal.jj 💕. Your support and affirmation give me the courage to absorb the colors of life 🥳. BRUNCH MENU $ 498 per person 📍 @ichuhk #CentralFoodie #CentralPeruvianCuisine #PeruvianCuisine #HongKongSpecialtyCuisine #HongKongPeruvianCuisine #hkfoodie #hkfood #hkfoodie #hkig #hkgirl #cheers #holidayvibes

Workday challenge MacLehose Trail Sections 1 and 2

Workday challenge MacLehose Trail Sections 1 and 2

🚶‍♂️ The MacLehose Trail is 100 kilometers long and divided into 10 sections, with sections 1 and 2 being the most beautiful. Many people choose the East Dam of High Island Reservoir as the starting point, but we choose to start from the beginning and walk a complete sections 1 and 2. ✔️ Arrived in Hong Kong a day in advance, stayed here for one night, got up at 6 o'clock the next morning, took the subway to University Station after breakfast. There is a taxi stand outside University Station, which is the territory of green taxis. The driver is familiar with the route and took us to the starting point of the MacLehose Trail, Pak Tam Chung, for a cost of over 100. MacLehose was the 25th Governor of Hong Kong, who loved outdoor sports, and this trail was named after him. ✔️ The starting time was 7:30 in the morning, and occasionally we would meet tourists on the road. The first section mainly follows the road along the south bank of the High Island Reservoir. You can see the reservoir on the left all the way, and there are occasional viewing platforms on the right, where you can enjoy the beautiful bay under the mountain. Of course, you will also encounter the legendary cows. This section has few slopes and is generally easy, arriving at the East Dam at about 9:45. ✔️ Below the East Dam is Po Pin Chau, where there are magical hexagonal rock columns, which we will visit next time. There are restrooms at the East Dam, where we took a short break, and continued on at about 10 o'clock. ✔️ Climbing up the mountain along the stone steps, the coastline in front of you is unobstructed, and the mountain and sea scenery is breathtaking. There is an M20 distance post at the top of the mountain, and then we enter section 2. The bay under the mountain is called Long Ke Wan, where there is a beach campsite where you can camp. We didn't linger here and went straight into the small path in the dense forest. ✔️ The next part is a very difficult climb, this mountain is called Sai Wan Shan. You need to cross several mountain tops to reach the top of the mountain. Some sections have stone steps, but more are rubble, and you can only grit your teeth and persist, needing to replenish water constantly. There is a viewing platform on the downhill road, with Sai Wan, Ham Tin Wan, Tai Wan and Tung Wan lined up in front of you, which is very spectacular. ✔️ Sai Wan seems to be right in front of you, but it's not that easy to walk. There is a fork in the road at the bottom of the mountain. To the left is Sai Wan Road, and those who are physically exhausted can retreat from here. To the right is Sai Wan. Sai Wan Village is a beautiful fishing village where there are supplies. The sand is very fine, and there are very special reefs. We couldn't help but play here for a long time, but the wind was too strong and the fine sand was blown up, covering us all over. ✔️ Leaving Sai Wan, we started climbing again. Compared to Sai Wan Shan, this place is much easier. After crossing this mountain, Ham Tin Wan is below, and you don't need to enter, you can bypass it and continue climbing. The road next to Ham Tin Wan can be described as a desert. The wind was particularly strong that day, and a sandstorm would occasionally sweep up. I didn't expect this road to come with a desert experience, which was simply a bonus. ✔️ From here on, the rest of the road is basically through dense forests, and there are fewer and fewer hikers. Sometimes there would be strange noises in the forest, always thinking it was the legendary wild boar, but luckily there were no surprises. There is a dilapidated village in the mountain nest, and there is a fork to the right here, which can reach Chek Keng Pier, another retreat point. We continued forward to Chek Keng. Although the road conditions here are good, it is still quite hard due to the high climb and the physical exertion before. ✔️ Chek Keng is also a bay, and the beach is full of red pebbles. After passing through the deserted village, we climbed another small mountain. At this time, we saw the 46th distance post, and the rest of the road was not far away. With a final push, we finally reached the 48th distance post and the sign for Pak Tam Au. The time was 3:30 in the afternoon, and the whole journey took 8 hours. ✔️ There is a bus stop nearby. If it is a weekend or holiday, you can take the 289R to Sha Tin city center to transfer to the subway. On weekdays, you can only take the 94 to Mai Bian, and then transfer to the KMB 99 to the city center subway station. 📍 Address: Sai Kung, Hong Kong 👍 Recommendation: One of the top 10 outdoor hiking routes in the world, with sections 1 and 2 being the most beautiful 💰 Cost: Mainly the cost of transportation, you need to take a taxi on weekdays, and you can take the bus on holidays.

Explore Hong Kong~ Gas lamps still shining on Dundas Street. "Blue and White Porcelain" on Miniature Street Visit the Cathedral of Saint John, the church building is beautiful. The beautiful banyan tree is very beautiful, with branches growing downwards and deeply rooted in the soil, forming a constantly strong and magnificent tree scene. Take the Peak Tram to reach the top of Victoria Peak and enjoy the panoramic view of Hong Kong. In order to enjoy the beautiful night view of Hong Kong, we waited until around seven o'clock. Due to the heavy fog on the mountain, the visual experience was not ideal, but it was still quite beautiful.
