Hotels near Suoxiyu, Zhangjiajie

A lovely hotel 5 minutes walk away from Zhangjiajie National Park’s Wulingyuan Entrance. The room was amazing and had daily cleaning. The bed sheets/duvet were changed after 2 days. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful. She suggested an itinerary for me for the National Park, as well as visiting the Grand Canyon/Glass Bridge, and Tianmen Mountain, based on the number of days I was staying and my transport arrangements. The only con would be that the cat stays in that glass box and that is very sad. It is so friendly!

My stay at Zhangjiajie Mido Inn was nothing short of a restorative journey, a much-needed reprieve after receiving less-than-ideal results from my recent CT scan. As a cancer patient, I was seeking more than just a place to rest—I needed an experience that would uplift my spirits, and the Mido Inn, along with its caretaker Wu, delivered exactly that. Upon arriving at the inn, I was greeted by Wu, whose warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He seemed to sense that I needed more than just a room; I needed an escape, a way to reconnect with nature and find peace amidst my worries. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests. Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while. Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. As I left Zhangjiajie, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength, carrying with me memories of not just the breathtaking landscapes, but of the kindness of a stranger who made a world of difference in my journey.

Hotel is very near to the wulingyuan national park gate - so it saves a lot of travelling time if you are planning a tour to the national park forest. Owner was also very helpful - we didn't need to get a local guide to bring us into the park. When we reached the hotel - he helped us get the tickets (no extra cost- same price if you get tickets from the counter) save us a lot of time queuing for tickets, guided us how to tour in the national park, help us flag for cab- it's a very nice family run hotel. It's clean - they do housekeeping everyday - and the best part when you visit zhangjiajie during winter - the water heater is hot and you can warm yourself in the room from their aircond heater. 👍

Really convenient location! About a 5mins walk to the entrance of wulingyuan, the owner(?) was really friendly and helped booked all our tickets (even to the romance park) at a cheaper price and even helped plan our route. Theres a minimart across the street and the night market downstairs its really worth it. The rooms are also very big and comfortable. And even have laundry that you do yourselves and they help hang while you are out. I really enjoyed my stay here and will recommend this always!! I

I came here after reading the reviews online. I was not disappointed. The hot water was warm in winter and the air conditioning was good, much better than the inn I stayed in before. The service of the lady was also good. She helped us sell discounted tickets and explained the route in detail, which saved us the money of hiring a tour guide. I recommend it.

To all foreign travellers, this is the best place you could stay in wulingyuan! The hosts were absolutely fantastic, patiently helping us purchase tickets, translating instructions on the route for each day we were there, recommending restaurants and even getting discounts for a few stores. They were so lovely that our stay here has left my husband and I with really positive memories of a great experience. The hotel itself is cute, great location on the strip, with a view of the stream and the night street food market. Only 6 mins walk to the park gate. The room was super clean with the required amenities. I really enjoyed having modern and smart facilities such as a bidet, automatic blinds and great air con (not easy to find in China as you would think). Really enjoyed our stay here, would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommend.

This was our last leg of our China trip. The 4 days 3 nights stay at Manyuan was wonderful. The team of staff we met was thoughtful and helpful, and the lead staff 彭谊stood out as a true attentive person. She guided us to book DiDi online Taxi and recommended places for dinner. In addition to enthusiastically recommending us places to go and buying tickets for us for the WuLingYuan National park and ZhangJiaJie Great Canyon with discount, we could feel that they were very concerned about our daily life. My wife said that every day when we returned to the hotel, she felt like she was back home when she heard the friendly ”You're back”. Our female butler 缘缘 helps monitor my online 淘宝purchase that delivered to the hotel. Another two staff worth mentioned was 晓晓 who guide us on the route in the national park of places of interest and skip others if time constraints. And 陈双凤who help us to setup the herbal foot bath. We have chosen Manyuan for its non smoking, clean, spacious rooms that overseeing the stream and sitting there with a glass of wine. It is also easy access to WuLingYuan National Park East gate. There are plenty of Chinese selection for the breakfast. My wife and I especially enjoyed and appreciated the coffee machine, which hardly available in other hotels. We are deeply grateful that we were allowed for late checkout with a small fee due midnight flight. This is really warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers coming to ZhangJiaJie. 这是我们中国之旅的最后一站。在曼缘的四天三夜住宿经历非常愉快。我们遇到的酒店员工都非常周到与乐于助人，领队彭谊是一位富有经验又细心的人。她指导我们预订滴滴在线出租车并推荐晚餐地点。 除了热心地向我们推荐景点并为我们购买武陵源国家公园和张家界大峡谷的折扣门票外，我们能感受到她们真诚的关心我们的出入起居生活。我的妻子说，每天回到酒店，听到親切的一声＂回来啦＂都感到自己像回到了家。 我们的女管家缘缘帮我跟进我网上购买的淘宝商品送到酒店。另外两位值得一提的员工是晓晓，她指导我们游览国家公园的景点路线。她会建议如果时间紧迫，跳过其他景点。还有陈双凤帮助我们设置草药足浴。 我们选择满园酒店是因为这里有干净、宽敞的禁烟客房，在阳台可以俯瞰溪流，小酎一杯。从酒店前往武陵源国家公园东门也很方便。早餐有很多选择。我和妻子特别喜欢并感谢酒店的咖啡机，这在其他酒店很难找到。 由于我们的搭的是午夜航班，酒店允许我们以付个小费用延迟退房，我们对此深表感谢。对我们来说这是一个非常温暖和照顾周到的住宿体验，强烈推荐未来来张家界的旅客入住曼缘渡假酒店。

Had a pleasant time staying here. Reception was friendly and very helpful in booking tickets for attractions. It was easy to communicate through WeChat, the forest is a 10 minute walk to the entrance . Located close to the shops and the theatre show. Our last day was at Tianmen mountain which is an hour from this hotel. Reception told us we could leave our luggage with them and for 20 yuan per piece they would consign our luggage to the station for us and we could pick it up from there. It worked out extremely well for us as the station is 30 mins from the mountain. Breakfast was good and our view from the room was awesome! Would definitely recommend.

It is very close to the east gate of the national forest, only a ten-minute walk away. The hotel has a good environment and provides breakfast, luggage storage, discount tickets, tourist guidance and other services. I happened to be on my period, so the hotel gave me red dates and ginger to make ginger tea.

Two friends (including a 77-year-old lady) and I had a great stay at Jiezhi hotel in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan. The hotel is within easy walk to the East gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The front desk (particularly a girl) is super helpful in suggesting/discussing plans for our visit to the National park and the nearby attractions. As a result, we were able to maximize the 3 days we have according to the daily weather (Huanglong cave and glass bridge on a drizzle day; Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain for a sunny day; and Golden wing stream valley and Huangshizhai for a light rainy day) and had an awesome time! They are also great to accommodate our 77-year-old friend an extra few hours stay as she was tired and did not join us for the last day in the park. This hotel is also within east walking to the best restaurants in Wulingyuan and we had the best Hunan cuisine/food in our life! We would recommend this hotel highly to anyone that stays at/near Zhanjiajie National Park.
