We had an amazing experience during our 3 nights/4 days stay at this hotel. We booked the hotel online after going through reviews on trip.com and were not disappointed. The staff were in touch on WeChat throughout and even upgraded our room. Despite the language barrier, the staff, especially Xiaohua, Jessica and Chenney were very helpful, going out of their way to help us plan our visits to the National park and other attractions. They helped us book tickets and explained the routes very patiently. We were extremely satisfied with their service, attentiveness and helpfulness. They also helped us order in food after a long & exhausting day of hiking. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. The hotel arranged free pick up and drop to the East Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. On my request, they arranged a small surprise for my husband’s birthday. 100% recommend this hotel.

This is the hotel to stay at !!! The staff was very helpful despite the language barrier. Some could speak English and as soon as you check in, they add you on WeChat. You can communicate with them. They answered all our questions on the hotel as well as on Zhangjiajie. The park is accessible by a nice path by the hotel, leading straight to the main entrance. The room was very spacious and well furnished. I would recommend to book a room with a balcony. I had a direct view on the houses at the back of the property, so opening the curtain was problematic. Despite that, I enjoyed my room. The air con was cold as needed for the scorching temperatures we had. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning services on point. Daily room cleaning with fruits basket and water bottles. Depending where the room is, it can be quite noisy at certain times. Mine was near the elevator, very convenient but noisy at time. They also provide ironing service if needed. The breakfast was good with a lot of options Chinese and some western. The coffee was good and the machine let you choose the intensity of your coffee. A 5-10 mins walk to have access to the main street near the hotel with a bunch of restaurants. There are some near the hotel too. We didn’t try those ones. We had a good massage at the massage place next door. That really helped us for the second day of exploration.Not so good when we went back, different masseuses. Overall, this hotel is a keeper. The pictures on the website are what you get.

Hotel contacted us after booking and helped us arrange our itineraries through WeChat. They also helped us buy our tickets. We were allowed to check in early as our rooms were ready, which we appreciated. The room was very nice and clean. Unrelated to the hotel itself, I would recommend against booking tickets for Zhangjiajie attractions in advance (even though there is a discount) as the weather is unpredictable and you don't want to be stuck going to see a sea of fog because you've already paid. There is a laundry machine available but it was almost always being used. There is also a convenience store, restaurant, and massage place all under the same management and right next door. The breakfast was pretty good and options changed between the two days we were there for.

Ne-am cazat aici pentru că ne-a plăcut locația, fiind aproape de intrarea de est în Parcul Național. Hotelul a fost peste așteptări, a fost liniște și am avut vedere la pădure. Așa ne-am bucurat de sunetul pădurii mai ales după ploaie. Sus, are acea terasă cu vedere uimitoare la oraș și la munte. Recepția a fost excelentă, stafful foarte prompt și serviabil. Am primit tot ce am cerut. De aici puteți cumpăra tichete pentru intrarea în parc, chiar obțineți o reducere. Am făcut check-out later, așa am beneficiat de facilitățile camerei până seara. Am primit bonusurile, iar servirea cu ceai a fost spectaculoasă. O primire călduroasă. Recomand cu căldură șederea aici👍

Tucked away in the scenic heart of Wulingyuan, Er Ya You Inn offers a cosy, authentic stay with a distinctly local charm. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, often going out of their way to help with travel tips, tickets, or even home-cooked meals. Its location is ideal for exploring the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, just a short walk or drive away. While the inn isn’t luxurious, it’s clean, atmospheric, and offers great value—perfect for travellers looking for a peaceful base to enjoy the natural wonders of the area.

The host are extremely polite and friendly. The lady took us from the hotel to the bus stop 🚏, gave us all kind of information to move around and when my mom stayed at the hotel by herself because she was too tired by walking around the mountains, they took care of her, gave her some Wantong and were super friendly, even she can’t speak English 🥹🫶🙏 We also made some laundry 🧺 everything very clean 🫶 We are very grateful with them. The food is extremely delicious 🤤 100/100 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Really amazing stay at Tingtang hotel. Its a short 5-6mins walk from Wu Ling yan entrance to the national forest park. There’s also many eateries around in the vicinity, plenty of mini marts if you want to stock your snacks and water supplies. Surprisingly we had complimentary breakfast provided by the hotel and they will cook you fresh bowl of noodles/vermicelli upon request. Highly recommended for friends/ couples or families to stay. The receptionist at tingtang also made their tour map to guide us how to visit the national forest park. We are blown away by their amazing service. Hotel room is huge, clean, neat, very modern!! I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here!

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Yuxi Homestay! The hotel owner was so kind and helpful with planning our itinerary and booking tickets for Wulingyuan, Tianmen Mountain, Huanglong Cave, and the Glass Bridge. Our room was simultaneously cozy and spacious, with a beautiful view. Every morning we were treated to a delicious free breakfast. It’s a family business, and it really shows. They were all very kind and the little daughter running around was very cute too. If you speak Chinese, you’ll get to experience how fun they are. If you don’t, they’ll try their best anyway so try to meet them halfway. There’s a great restaurant right around the corner too, and the owner there is a good friend of the hotel owner. The restaurant name is Tu Jia Xiao Er, or 土家小二. I don’t think I’d want to stay anywhere else if/when I come back to Zhangjiajie!

This is a new, big & modern hotel located in Wulingyan town centre. Hotel is about 2km away (20 to 30 mins walk) from Zhangjiajie East Gate entrance or about 10km away from Zhangjiajie South Gate Entrance. Didi (china grab) is available easily from hotel. Hotel is about 45 mins drive from Zhangjiajie City Centre/West Railway Station. Hotel is surrounded by many shops, eateries and is walkable everywhere. Hotel lobby is huge and spacious. Check in staffs are all very friendly and welcoming. There is a hot tea station at the lobby which can be utilised by guests all day. Rooms are smoking free, new, modern, spacious and luxury. Room toileteries are by Balmain. Hotel surrounding is quiet. Buffet breakfast is very crowded due to many tour groups. On 2 occasions, the hotel allow us to enter the breakfast restaurant but there is no table available. Hunting for table ourself is probably not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. I suggest the hotel staff must assist every guest to their table. If there is no table, dont let the guest in the restaurant cluelessly looking for table. The 2 coffee machines at the breakfast are slow and there is always long queue there. Hotel need to improve this by adding another coffee machine and mayb add a pot of hot black coffee so those who need black coffee can skip using the coffee machine. Hotel restaurant is also under staff in my opinion. Otherwise, in my opinion the hotel buffet breakfast spread is huge, many hot food selections and quite delicious. Overall, i think this is great hotel to stay when visiting zhangjiajie avatar mountain.
