I had a wonderful experience staying at Qiquan Homestay. Nestled away from the town, it offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The views from the property are absolutely stunning, making every morning and evening feel special. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was comfortable throughout the stay. The entire place was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort and enjoyment. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and warm hospitality, I highly recommend Qiquan Homestay!

Amazing and kind staff who made navigating zhangjiajie extremely easy— the actual place was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed at, and made our visit extremely comfortable. look at these views!

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and caring. They helped us with planning our trip around Zhangjiajie National Park and other places to visit like Grand Canyon Bridge, and Tianmen mountain and Huanglongdong Cave. The hotel is located in a quiet area not far from the south gate of Zhangjiajie National park. The hotel lies a bit on the hillside surrounded by homestays, residential houses and vegetable farms. When we explored the national park the hotel staff drove us to the park entry in the morning for free. It is also very easy to get a taxi from the hotel to Wulingyuan is just 45RMB. The room was very beautiful and spacious and looked very new. The hotel also has a restaurant which offers tasty local chinese cuisine. Often we had our dinner there in the evening. Our favorite dishes: onion and cucumber salad, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, fried green pepper, Chinese cabbage. Our trip will definitely stay in our memories.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic. The food was not only delicious but also varied and freshly prepared. We especially want to highlight the staff – they were consistently warm, helpful, and attentive. Thanks to their kindness and hospitality, we truly felt at home. A real highlight was the outstanding service related to our excursions: the hotel recommended an excellent route through the mountains that allowed us to avoid the crowds at the popular tourist spots. Even better, we were driven directly to the south entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park – a perfect starting point for unforgettable hikes. The room was also wonderful: the view was simply breathtaking and made our stay even more special. Another great detail was the bathroom – it was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Zhangjiajie National Park in a relaxed and authentic way!

Qiquan Homestay was lovely. The location is great, just minutes from the South Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast is a set bento style meal and coffee is available upon request. The bed is also very comfortable, especially after a long day in the park.

We had one of the best hotel experiences here. The staff picked us up from the Park’s south gate, gave us traveling tips, and gave us free tea. The rooms and the common areas are beautiful. The vibe is very chill and cozy. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Qiquan is a beautiful, secluded gem near the Zhangjiajie south gate. We came in the winter and the rooms were warm with floor heating and a fantastic heater. We got the star gazing room, so at night we could open the blinds on the ceiling and look out. Our first night we got lucky! So many stars, and even Jupiter! The room is two levels, with the beds in the loft and a comfortably furnished living space downstairs with a large Chinese -style sofa and a platform with a tea table. The bathroom has the toilet and showers with separate doors, so the sink is available even when one or the other is in use. The water was hot and the toilet had a heated toilet seat! The staff were incredible. They helped us plan our trip through Zhangjiajie, provided us with everything we needed or forgot, drove us to south gate, and served a wonderful Chinese style breakfast. We had also had dinner there the first night and it was absolutely delicious! We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Had a pleasant stay at Qiquan Homestay. We felt welcomed and enjoyed good hospitality, clean and spacious room, and attentive service from our personal butler, staff, even the boss and lady boss had chipped in to help us in one way or another. Overall very service oriented. Also, they were very fast in responding to our queries via WeChat. My first impression with Qiquan was how fast they responded after I submitted an airport pick up request. This happened a few days after completing the room booking in Trip.com. In the same hour, I received a phone call from Trip.com informing Qiquan Homestay had contacted them to pass us their WeChat number to connect with them directly. From there, they enquired what attractions we plan to visit and offered to help book the tickets (at a slightly cheaper rate). They do help to advise which ticket to book earlier as it could run out when purchase on the same day of visit. For example Tianmenshan ticket, they advised to purchase one week ahead. Another occurrence of good service; on our second day we had our personal butler and staff bring up our breakfast up to the room, because we had a night flight the day before and reached hotel pretty late and got up late, so missed breakfast time. It was so nice of them, we got to eat and enjoyed delicious breakfast and enjoyed good scenery from our room window. Also we mentioned we felt quite cold in the room because of the lower temperature (near mountain area) and butler immediately took out another portable heater which helped us warmed us a lot. We also had the privilege of having the boss of the homestay to drive us to and fro from Homestay to the South Gate entrance. The lady boss had personally helped us with our tickets booking (even after checking out) and bring up our breakfast when we requested to have it in the room too. It was a good experience with Qiquan Homestay.

This was one of my best experiences of hotels while travelling. The homestay is very beautiful! Having traditional Chinese breakfast while looking in the window on mountains was very pleasant. But the best in this homestay were people! I’ve never met such kind and attentive people! They helped us with everything: to plan the day in the national park, to buy tickets, they heated our room so we return in warm room. Actually I had my birthday in the last day of our trip. Workers celebrated me with the traditional noodles and helped us to heat after getting under the rain. I will never forget their kindness 🩷 Qiquan homestay has a place in my heart. I totally recommend this place

We had an amazing stay at QiQuan. The hotel itself is beautifully designed both inside and outside with mountains as its backdrop. There are many quiet corners around the property for birdwatching or just relaxing. Besides the artful setting, the hotel excels at first class services to its guests, to name the ones we have experienced:     ⁃    Early check in     ⁃    Detailed itinerary recommendations to the park including the connections of various transportation modes with discounted park tickets.     ⁃    Free ride to the South Gate of the forest park.     ⁃    Free washer and dryer in the lobby     ⁃    Store and drop off luggage at the South Gate on our last day so that we can spend the most time at the park without having to worry about the luggage     ⁃    We had three meals on premise and liked their cooking compared to the heavily spiced salty food in restaurants Lodging near the south gate is particularly good for beating crowds which can affect the visiting experience a lot.  On the first night we went to the park around 4pm, got on the cable car to HuangShiZhai, basically had the whole popular area for ourselves because most tourists leave the park around five but the park stays open until seven as long as one get on the cable car before five. Overall we highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who enjoys spending more time in nature.

I spent three days exploring the national park, and this homestay was perfect for it. It's close to the south gate, and every morning someone from the staff would drive me there and pick me up when I was done for the day. The homestay itself is so peaceful and beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is delicious—I had both breakfast and dinner there every day. But the absolute highlight of this homestay is the host and the rest of the staff. The host is so welcoming and helpful, and despite the language barrier, very easy to communicate with. I recommend this place 1000%!

We had a truly excellent stay. The staff went above and beyond throughout our time there — helping us book park tickets, arranging transport to and from the entrance, and proactively checking in via WeChat to offer tips and suggestions. They were also very attentive to individual preferences, even offering alternatives when someone in our group didn’t enjoy traditional Chinese breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view from the balcony and a relaxing bathtub. Above all, the bed was exceptionally comfortable — we all slept like babies. Everything was exactly as we hoped, if not better.

Very grateful to lady boss for arranging everything for us, we had an amazing time in Zhangjiajie! 😊😊😊 She had engaged a reliable local guide to bring us around and planned for our daily itinerary. Rooms were huge and comfortable! Hotel food was great and much more affordable than outside. Recommend to everyone who intends to visit Zhangjiajie!
