Hotel Bellerive

Very memorable hotel, super friendly staff and very awesome room. My best experience in Switzerland is with this hotel.

Where to start....flawless service from start to finish. We were able to call the hotel from the train station to get picked up. Staff welcoming, warm reception from the gorgeous owner Katja who btw will make your cappuccino or hot cocoa and the brekky staff that caters the yummiest, high quality breakfast buffet. Period. We have stayed in 5 star hotels to great value hotels in 48 countries but I was still impressed to find fresh avocados every morning and kiwi fruit lol. Uber charming hotel just off from the main drag but yet close to a bakery, pub, a small grocery store, restaurants and shops. We were blessed with a beautiful, healthy and safe journey all over Switzerland on this trip. As luck was on our side, we were amazingly upgraded to a room with a Matterhorn view! Next time we visit, we will get the room with a view as it will be worth it. Our room gave a so comfy, warm and cozy vibes with all the amenities that you need including a nepresso machine and a tea kettle for your sirocco teas. Sleep was restful in our 2 night stay as the bed, pillows and comforter were heavenly. We were just happy to chill in our room or sit on the balcony with our teas in hand and just admire the great Matterhorn. The only niggle was the water would run out of the shower door when using the rain shower head and had to use the towels to dry the floor. We did inform the owner about it;) Thank you Hotel Bellerive staff for all you do. Overall, highly recommend and we will be back!

We stayed at Bellerive for a family ski trip in February. We booked 3 rooms, each unique, and all perfect for our group. The breakfast was wonderful each morning with made to order coffees and eggs in additional to a full European buffet. The location is perfect - quieter than the main street but just minutes away. We had no problem getting to all three base areas by bus (Klein Matterhorn and Gornergrat) or walking (Sunegga). The ski room in the basement has heated boot warmers and complimentary tissues and sunscreen which was a useful touch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a health issue with one of our group and the team went above and beyond to sort out a late night ride to the hospital in Visp (all was well). We would definitely stay again - the hotel was a highlight of the trip.

Second time at Bellerive and again a fantastic experience. Spent this time a week with family and friends in the very spacious and comfortable apartment. Everything was perfect. The breakfast is delicious, the location is great and the owners Katja and Mario, as well as the whole Bellerive team are very nice and attentive to your needs. Thank you, great memories, we’ll be back !
