Nice friendly hotel and B&B, rooms nice, clean and comfortable beds. The food is ok. Buffet breakfast, plenty for everyone. You have to choose what you would like for your evening meal the night before, not a problem. It’s a quiet hotel. No bars or restaurants near by. The town is a quick bus ride away, number 71 bus takes you to the bus station in town. Lots of bars with music. The Gondola is a 5-10 minute walk (up hill)

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel, booked through Crystal. The hotel is right next to the slopes so we could ski in and out! The staff couldn't have been more friendly & helpful, the chef even went up the trouble of making our daughter a birthday cake on his own time! The food at breakfast and dinner (half board - 4 courses!) was delicious. We stayed in the annexe which although a bit small was clean and had everything we needed. We used the spa facilities which were very relaxing after a day on the slopes. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

Excellent hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, which made the stay perfect and beyond expectations. Rooms were spotlessly clean and standards of daily room make up again beyond expectations. Food also of a very good standard (half board). Location great for access to the ski areas / lifts (short walk or regular bus which takes just one minute). Also next to blue run 7 for ski in / ski out. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant hotel. Close to slopes. Can ski down to town gondola or short walk up to different gondola. Wellness area includes 3 different types of sauna, plus a steam room and relaxation area. Christina, receptionist was outstanding. Warm and welcoming and a great first impression to a wonderful holiday. Breakfast, excellent selection of healthy food options plus pastries. Dinner was 4 courses with a choice of main courses. Excellent cuisine and healthy too. Definitely stay again. Until next time, thank you.

Don’t make mistakes! Never chose this hotel! Every year we choose vacation in Zell Am See. And we booked this hotel 4 stars ( how we thought) 1. Cleaning We make a spot on our table And we live 10 days and nobody clean it out. So cleaning was just makes the bed. During all this days only 1 time change our towels. 2. Room If you want to call to reception, you must go down and ask for ‘special wire’ for telephone. But even if you ask- nobody give it to you. They want to ‘care’ about own guests and it’s impossible to contact with them 3. When we say about cleaning to administrator ( this lady said that she is owner- it’s so sad) she was rudy and unrestrictible. She didn’t try to get know more. She doesn’t care and get a **** about our opinion. The goal - is our money. Not our satisfaction. 4. Elevator Everywhere they write when they have elevator. Almost all days it doesn’t work. We got trauma with leg, staff doesn’t care it. When we said that it’s difficult to go up by stairways. ‘Careful owner’ didn’t offer to change room in another lever. We got only ‘wait when it’s repaired’ Sure that we wanted to move earlier, because of this behaviour. And ‘the best owner’ said they if we move 2 days earlier - we can not pay for 2 bottle of water and 1 beer which we order. So we paid 250 euro per day, and now we should agree with 20€ compensation??? Fun 5. Food On breakfast you can try spoiled fruits. On dinner , one day you will eat tasty food, next day tooooo salty food (impossible to eat). All another restaurant are far away, so no choose In the end, it’s the worth hotel. They can’t have 4 stars. This service is like in cheap motel.

We were very positively surprised about the hotel’s performance and appearance. Seen hundreds of hotels but this made an permanent impression. The hotel performs excellent in all relevant aspects. Clean and very nice staff. Breakfast is very good and half board very well planned and tasty. The hotel is located ca 1,5 km west from the city – up the Schmitten valley with superb Alp views – in all directions and especially to the east – over the Zell lake and surrounding mountains. The location is therefore very pleasant and peaceful – nothing of the city noise down in the city. Eye is resting when admiring the views from the balconies and inhaling the fresh Alpine air. Car travelers can enjoy good parking conditions. For those not car bound – the local bus (#71) service is very comfortable down to the city center and back – 5 minutes ride every ½ hour. For hiking the hotel is perfectly situated right on the foot of the main hiking areas of the resort – only 300 m to the cable car stations. The hotel can without reservations be recommended.

An excellent stay is expected in a 4* hotel. Unfortunately this year the hotel does not deserve 4*. The rooms have not been renovated for years. There is no teapot and no coffee, tea on the equipment. This is already standard in 3* hotels. A few years ago bathrobes were available, now they are charged extra. Rooms with a terrace do not provide privacy and guests can look into the window. There are no sun loungers on the terrace, only chairs made of broken technorattan (you can damage your clothes). Even the pretty flowers are gone, yet in Austria everyone has beautiful colourful flowers on their balconies. The breakfast is very disappointing. Artificial scrambled eggs, poor quality cold cuts, little choice of vegetables. And coffee from a thermos. Sad and boring. Where are the 4* ?!? After 21:30 the bar closes and not even a beer can be bought. In 2019 dinner was served buffet style. You could freely choose the dishes. Unfortunately, now dinner is served in specific portions and the choice of dishes has to be made the day before. In summary: 4* is reflected only in the price. After two years of pandemonium, it is time to take care of the customers, not to cut costs!
