Margarita Hotel - All Inclusive

Just returned from a fantastic week at this wonderful hotel. The things that are amazing: All the staff are so lovely and friendly There's a good mix of nationalities among the guests It's all kept scrupulously clean and tidy The pool areas are super-relaxed Plenty to eat and drink at the bars Some of the best food I have ever eaten, I was expecting your usual buffer fare, but the range of vegetables and meats, all fresh and delicious, was astounding Not at all rowdy, it's well managed, and peaceful, a good mix of families, couples, groups, young and old A quiet location on the edge of town, but still only 10 minures to the beach, and we saw a turtle! Fun live music most of the nights My only complaint: The restaurant area is a bit drab and functional and it's all indoors. This needs a bit of jazzying up and it'd be nice to have the option of eating outdoors

Having stayed in many Hotels over the last 35+ Years, this Hotel is by far the best all the food locally produced food that is lovely with excellent choice the Hotel is spotless , rooms cleaned every Day and Towels changed every other Day all the Staff go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely holiday. May Wife and I were a bit worried about going all inclusive after some horrible Hotels but Margarita hotel in Lagan'as has changed our ideas as snacks were cooked to order at the Bar and the Drinks were really nice quality all I can say is if you go to this HOTEL you will love the MARGARITA HOTEL as I already said it is a brilliant Hotel and you will really enjoy it and find it really hard to find a better Hotel.I would also like to thank the Lady on Reception who is a teacher in the winter for her extra help once again thank you MARGARITA for giving us such a lovely HOLIDAY

I can truly recommend this hotel. The personnel is friendly and we felt very welcome. We had a room with a private pool. The balcony above us was big enough to protect our terrace mostly from direct sun but the sun shined to the pool. The pool water quality was controlled every day, and pool cleaned once during our 7-day stay. Housekeeping 7 days a week. The all inclusive was a bargain as the nearby restaurants were quite expensive. Delicious food had many vegetarian dishes available, too. The hotel and its surroundings is much cleaner than the Laganas town in general. The visitors were mainly young adults. Entertainment every evening from 9pm to 11pm. The music can barely be heard to the terrace. No disturbing noises during night. Note: the superior rooms have a shared pool. I would say the room with a private pool is a better worth considering the monet spent.

I have never written a bad review in my whole life but I am absolutely disgusted with how my daughter has been treated at this hotel by all the staff but especially the Manager, I am actually in shocked My daughter is 18 and her and her best friend are having their first girls trip, they are both very sensible and have worked very hard at college ,this was a celebration at the end of all their dedication. They booked this hotel through TUI in the Trafford centre, this was what they advised. The moment they arrived they were treated with rudeness, this has carried on through their stay. They paid £800 each a week all inclusive after saving up and couldn’t even get a glass of water through the night, even though clearly other families could take water to the room, they were not allowed. The staff were constantly rude to them and when asked if they could have water the manager asked if my daughter was stupid as she had already told her, she couldn’t take a plastic cup of water to her room. The snack bar was not open at the correct times, they were told they couldn’t have an alcoholic drink except for the times of 4-6 stopped when the pool closed This is all inclusive My daughter and her best friend were so upset and felt so uncomfortable, this hotel has completely ruined their first holiday and we have now booked them a new hotel four days in I have called the Manager and she explained to me that my daughter could not have water other than at the bar but a family could (a complete judgement and bias of her age) Absolutely horrendous, I will be taking this up with TUI they knew how old they are and they were more than happy to take the money off them when they booked but then to treat two young girls away from home like that Please stay clear from this hotel

Smart well run hotel, in a quieter area of Laganas. Excellent selection of quality food to choose from at all meals. Rooms are clean and , owners and staff make you feel very welcome. I Would definitely stay here again, Thank you to all at the Margarita

Staff always on call very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned. Food freshly prepared but tends not to be very hot. The use of microwave would be welcomed for soups etc. For all inclusive spirits drinks not avaliable until after 4pm to 11pm. Disappointed that entertainment not at all good also. 😕 New rooms look stunning. However, a lot old fitments have been recycled.

Our first time at this hotel. Unfortunately we were disappointed with several points: *AC in room broken, but was repaired the next day which was good as needed it! *Loud noises from other visitors in room above banging around and screaming children late at night. Very thin walls and ceilings. *Only one pool allowed for families which hardly ever able to get a sunlounger as other visitors mark their seats with towels which was not stopped by staff. *Resturant is all indoors, disappointed couldn't sit outside to eat apart from pool bar. Always have had outdoor seating before this hotel to have breakfast lunch and dinner. *Pool towels are not provided! You need to bring your own or buy one! *No shampoo! Had to buy this too! *Loud live music kept us awake then night before our flight home! From 9pm to 11pm.Why couldn't they do this earlier so children could enjoy it too? *Ants in room! *Long walk to beach with young children, no pavements and busy road to cross. Nearly got hit by a car! Took about 25 mins with young children to get to beach. *Had to pay €50 room tax on arrival which we weren't told about by Tui. *Limited children's drinks only not fizzy drinks are orange juice or water. GOOD POINTS *FOOD. Amazing food every day! Very impressed. *Friendly staff very welcoming. *Shops on door step. *Large family room with door to separate which was great. Had a lovely holiday buy won't be back due to above points.

When walking in the first thing I noticed was that the elevator was down so I then had to go up 2 flights of stairs with my heavy case. Before I could even go to my room I had to pay €49 just for tourist tax! then when I got in my room there was no kettle / coffee maker.

Lovely family run hotel, clean rooms, modern decor and friendly staff. Food was varied , freshly prepared daily. Loved the adult only front pool and the family pool in the rear is a great idea. The Greece night was fun.
