Very happy! Perfect location as you are literally in the center and the architecture, all the restaurants and shops are within a hand's reach. Convenient falicities. The common room is a perfect place to socialize and make new friends. There's a nice terrace as well. The staff was very friendly. I would like to mention that the chat I had with Marija was really rewarding. Such a nice woman! Undoubtedly, if I come back to Zadar it will be to stay at this hostel. Hvala vam puno! The hotel is by the sea, but it is far from the old city, the environment may be good here, and the personal feeling is built according to the German holiday habits. The stay experience is particularly bad, the room is too small, the bed pillow is particularly soft and uncomfortable, the construction noise outside started at 6 am, and the water was stopped several times due to the construction pipeline failure. In short, it feels particularly bad. The restaurant includes three meals for morning, noon and evening, and the tableware is not cleaned in place.

Ottima posizione, il centro storico di Zara di raggiunge in 5-10 minuti a piedi con una piacevole passeggiata sul lungomare. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte, quindi niente da dire sui servizi ma sulla pulizia non ci siamo proprio. Polvere ovunque, anche sui comodini che sono le superfici più utilizzate e visibili, ma soprattutto la parete dietro il letto rivestita di carta da parati ruvida era interamente ricoperta di polvere.

Lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms. friendly staff and great amenities, restaurant was nice and room with a balcony gave great views! location was close to the beach and water but if wanting to explore old town Zadar it is approx an hour away by foot!

It was a very satisfying accommodation. The staff were very friendly and the parking was convenient. You can park on the road in front of the hotel for free, so it was convenient to carry your luggage. The sea view from the window was also so nice.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to saluting the sun and the sea organ. The peninsula is not very big. The old town has a lot of attractions, and it is not far from the hotel. The hotel room is fully equipped, the house is spacious, the owner is very enthusiastic, and patiently and carefully draws every possible sight for the map for us, so we have arranged a very reliable taxi driver to pick us up on time the next day station. Guests staying in this hotel must have basic English conversation skills. The hotel does not have a reception desk. You must contact the staff in advance to check in the room and listen to her precautions. Overall this is a very good hotel.

It was a pleasant stay with all the staff been friendly and thanks to the young lady in the breakfast room. She ran the wholebreakfat on her own, always smiling and having nice things to say. The hotel is lucky to have such good staff. The young girl at reception was equally friendly and insisted on carrying our bags up a flight of stairs. She explained everything about the hotel and things to see in Zadar.

The Hotel Donat offers a very fair deal with an excellent price-performance ratio. The rooms are a little old. However, they are very clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. The food is down-to-earth and tasty. There is always a large selection of freshly prepared dishes. You can easily walk to the city center of Zadar. The approximately 4 km long route follows the coast and is pleasant to walk. There are several bus stops nearby. You can reach the hotel from the city on lines 5 and 8. I would love to come back!
