You’ll get no information from him 4. 1st day check-in, my in room hot spring tub is slimy n dirty stained wil algae. I scrub a lot out and took video. Same Japanese man came and nothing. Till I show him the algae I’ve scrub and the video, he kept quiet. Housekeeping do scrub off within 30mins 5. Breakfast is same everyday 6. Dinner, slight changes but still 99% same. 7. Child meal is hopeless.  Stayed for 5nights, same meals daily.  8. Want to bring a cake to dinner to celebrate my Daughters Birthday, we were forbidden to do so. Nothing besides what they bring to you.  9. Onsen was good 10. Basic ice cream treats.  11. Simple ramen in the evening Hotel is too rigid. It’s really expensive during our visits. The rules at dining and the same meals daily, it’s unbearable. Kids have nothing much to eat For the price, I’ll not stay in this rigid property. Many other Ryokan resort for lesser price and better options. It’s not ski in ski out and yet price are too high.

A short walk of about 10 mins from the train station. Hotel staff are very helpful and professional. The room is very spacious and clean. Onsen is great and so is the breakfast. There is also complimentary shuttle service to the train station every 20 mins. If you are here for winter activities, there is also a separate storage at the basement for your boots, snowboard etc so you keep your room clean.

Staff service is very good, very professional. Ski rentals are available at the hotel, which is cheaper than ski resorts and other ski resorts. Ski tickets at the hotel are also available at discounts. There is also a special car transfer, when you see everyone waiting for the bus in a long queue, your special car is already waiting for you at the door, when it snows, feel warm. It is only a 5-minute walk to Yuehou Tangyu Station and 7-11.

One of the nearest accommodation to Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and shuttle via a mini bus is available. Shuttle bus goes to Echigo Yuzawa station too. It is walking distance from Gala Yuzawa. Approach any staff at the Ski Resort with the telephone number of the hotel to request for it. Stayed there for a few night for snowboarding. Breakfast selection was fabulous with two local Japanese sake available! The room is big, clean and well furnished. It even come with a great view! Onsen street which is the street lined with restaurant is 10-15mins walk away. I recommend making reservation for dinner if you do not intend to go out for dinner. Great service is one of the key reason why I would return to stay!

Stayed here after going to Tangze skiing, luckily booked a room with open-air hot springs, which was perfect and the breakfast was particularly exquisite and delicious. The hot springs in the room are really different, enjoy the trip, just in time for the hot springs, beautiful can not be described in words.

You can also take the cable car up the mountain on the top of the primary road, and go up to 900 meters above sea level. There are all the routes of the primary road and the intermediate road. Tired of slipping, the hotel's hot spring has internal soup and external soup, this stay again experienced the open-air hot spring in the snow. Very cozy.

The hotel is equipped with ski rental and selling ski lift tickets around it. The price is cheaper than buying on the spot. Breakfast is good and the owner is friendly. Some rooms require public toilets. The train to the hotel is very alienated. There are no restaurants nearby. If you want to dine out in the city at night, you must relocate to the return train or take a taxi. I hope the hotel can install a washing machine.

Very nice hotel. It seems that the hotel that is run by itself has roots in the local area, because a large area in front of the house is open space and there is no building block, which requires some historical support. The hot springs are also very good. Obviously, the hotel has its own small and beautiful insistence, and guests need to cooperate as much as possible. There are rules to maintain the beauty. Compared with other recommended larger hotels in town, it is on the slope, so the scenery should be more convenient and beautiful, but it needs to climb, and it is far from the station and the 7-11 on the side of the station. Everything else is perfect and I like it very much.

Great hotel and very clean room. Decent buffet breakfast. however, we were not aware that we cannot order dinner and it must be prebooked. Not the easiest place to get to, but they offer a free shuttle to and from the station. However, the shuttle runs only once an hour and must be booked, so it is not very convenient.
