We were somewhat surprised by the campsite-style setup, as we booked based solely on website photos without delving into the specifics. While the facilities are adequate, the layout lacks privacy. For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety. Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.

The campsite is very large, and the scenery that has been developed is also very beautiful, with clear lake water, winding wooden plank roads, and large grasslands. Let's talk about the areas for improvement: the room facilities are a bit old, and the washbasin is missing a corner. The bathroom door handle is very tight, and the door cannot be opened in the middle of the night. You can only wait for the next day to find the hotel engineer to open it... The hotel service is not bad. The housekeeper contacted one day in advance and added WeChat to arrange the driver to pick up. If you want to climb the snow mountain early in the morning, the hotel will pack breakfast for you.

I was in a rush so I didn't take any photos. The room was very clean and hygienic, and the hotel owner was super nice. The newly renovated hotel is fully equipped with everything from air conditioning to hairdryers. There are restaurants and supermarkets downstairs, and it's also very close to Lijiang Station. This hotel is perfect for a trip to Baisha ancient town and the surrounding areas. The staff phoned us on the day of our arrival to organise to meet us at once of the ancient town entrances and help bring our luggage to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious too and the room had all the amenities you need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Baisha!
