Lijiang Manqiwan Snow Mountain Ye She Min Su

Wish we stayed longer at this beautiful homestay! This family room was massive and both beds had views of the Yulong Mountains. Our room was spotless and equipped with everything that we could ever need from Dyson hair dryers to even disposable towels! 老板娘/ female boss was the perfect host, always offering drinks (unlimited cocktails included with dinner) and a chat. Dinner was scrumptious, we had dinner here two nights in a row instead of eating out. We could easily communicate with the owners, housekeepers and even the chef via group chat on WeChat. They took really good care of us and resolved any concerns or issues we had promptly. Breakfast and afternoon teas are included daily. The afternoon tea treats are absolutely scrumptious. This was our favourite homestay/ hotel this trip. I wished we had stayed longer! Cannot wait to be back in winter one day to enjoy the views of the snowcapped Yulong mountains.

Looks exactly like in pictures, but better. Aside from the view, the beauty is in the details. Everything down to the soap, bathroom sink, shower, speakers etc was quality products and not cheap. Service was good, provides transport to and from the ancient town. The service and response to requests were almost instant. The guys were chill and fun to talk to. Probably why it costed this much :P

We just spent two wonderful nights at this resort as a family of four, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The property overlooks a stunning snow-capped mountain, offering breathtaking views that made our stay even more special. The service was exceptional — the staff were warm, welcoming, and constantly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality truly stood out. Breakfast was included and featured a local specialty noodle dish accompanied by a variety of delicious side dishes. Dining with a view — whether in the morning or at dinner — was a memorable experience. The resort also provided afternoon tea, which included a fruit platter, some nuts, and a choice of drinks. I especially appreciated the peaceful and serene atmosphere while gazing at the mountains — it was a perfect moment of calm and relaxation. All the amenities we could possibly need were thoughtfully provided. The resort is also conveniently located near one of the ancient towns, and food delivery is available if you’re in the mood to explore other dining options. Overall, we had a very pleasant and restful stay. I highly recommend this resort for families or anyone looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Manxiwan now holds a special place in my heart. This place deserves more than just five stars. As frequent travelers, we know how hard it is to find a place that truly offers a great stay, and Manxiwan exceeded all our expectations. Our standards for Airbnb stays have been raised once again, thanks to this experience. The service is top-notch — the owners are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always making sure you’re well taken care of. The ambiance is amazing, and they’ve thoughtfully prepared everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A bonus: everything they provide is of high quality. I didn’t even need to use my own Dyson hairdryer because they already had one available. The bathrooms, showers, and bathtub are spotlessly clean and properly disinfected. They even installed a heater in the shower room, so you won’t freeze while bathing. The amenities are impressive: there’s a Marshall speaker, a projector with an automatic white screen, and voice-controlled curtains — just say “你好，小乐，开/关窗帘” and the curtains will open or close without needing to find a switch. The view outside the window is absolutely breathtaking — one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. Another plus: the place is so photogenic that you can take tons of amazing pictures without even stepping outside. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask — the hosts go above and beyond to help. They also offer car rental services at reasonable prices, making it easy to explore the area. The food is delicious too — I especially loved the 米线 (rice noodles)! One evening when we returned late, they still welcomed us warmly, asked about our day, and even offered us some warm soup. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out. I highly, highly recommend this place — you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, Manxiwan!

It was a very great living experience. The room is spacious and clean with a beautiful view. The staff is nice and helpful too. Both the breakfast and dinner are also worth to try . Highly recommend all of you to go once! Escape the Crowds and Enjoy a Relaxed Vacation

First min-su experience in China and we were surely impressed. Beautiful setting, tasteful design, great space, handcrafted coffee and dishes, chill vibe and warm host.. can’t ask for more for a chillaxing stay! It’s located around 5mins drive away from Baisha old town and midway between lijiang old town and Yulong snow mountain. A good area to be if you want to visit both. Our host was very helpful in recommending things to do places to see restaurants to visit. The room is exactly as pictured - great space and a good sized extra bed can be arranged which was big enough for two kids. You’ll have no regrets staying at ManXiWan..
