Although the boss is busy Lu is still willing to do it for us to eat. I heard that it is very complicated to do it. Then when we eat, the boss is talking to every table. It is very enthusiastic. Then we eat and feel very amazing. We have not tasted the taste. It is the satisfaction of the taste buds. The spicy taste of the water is just right. After going to the next door to drink tea, the boss took the good tea stored for us to taste and then counted the star disk for us and my girlfriend. I counted a big triangle ☺️ saying that we were born good and then kept talking about the characteristics of each guest in the hotel. Everyone said that the aisle counted this hotel on the dragon vein. I got up and I was really at ease. Then I did things in a few days. After the chat, we went back to bed to welcome the arrival of the new day. I got up at 7 o'clock in the morning and opened the curtains to see Jinshan. It was super beautiful like living in an oil painting! ! ! In the afternoon, I troubled the boss to make the dishes. The price is too affordable. I can’t believe that this is the dining price of the tourist city. The taste of home-cooked dishes is amazing and simple. Then when I left, I saw that the boss was very busy and then entertained others at the front desk. We left. I sincerely thank the boss for his hospitality. The attitude is the real conscience. I hope the boss will say less ”very annoying” 🤪

We were initially staying at a large Hyatt brand hotel in Lijiang, and wanted to experience these up and coming boutique, modern style hotels. So my comparison is against the traditional big name hotels with similar price points. Pros: 1. Interesting design, bathroom right by the window 2. Great service, you can contact them easily and they are always free to have a conversation with you 3. Free flow drinks and snacks 4. Free car service to nearby towns 5. Cute open farm where you can feed and play with goats, ponies and even dogs. Cons: 1. Open concept lobby. Was freezing when having my breakfast. 2. Breakfast only starts at 8:30am, with limited options. You don’t get to enjoy the buffet style of large hotels. 3. Had trouble figuring out how to turn on heating, so was absolutely freezing in the room. 4. Room Design didn’t translate into practicality. Didn’t enjoy the open concept toilet. But this is contentious, and really up to individual preference. But I didn’t get the luxury experience I was looking for. 5. Lack of privacy: we booked the room with a large hot tub with Mountain View. However it is also facing the farm and being on the second floor. Anyone can easily look up and see us in the bath tub. While there is no one playing at night, we were only limited to night time baths which was a waste as we wouldn’t be able to enjoy the view in the day time. Overall, while I enjoyed the personalized and impeccable service (comparable to Aman hotels and expensive Maldives resorts), I just feel like the hotel being new, has a few teething issues it needs to resolve. I would argue that it is also an individual’s personal preference. For me, they shared the same price point with the large luxury brands in the area, but I just did not get the luxury experience from the room and hotel’s design. Their room design seem to heavily focus on aesthetics but not really functionality for their guests.

The B&B is very new, the rooms are large, and the decoration is very good. It is well thought out. There are disposable bath towels. The B&B is located in Yuhu Village, at the foot of Yulong Snow Mountain. You can see the snow mountain up close on the roof of the B&B. There are also places to eat in the village. It's just that the wind is very strong at night, and the cold wind pours in from the cracks in the door. The wind is howling, and I dare not go out. The coffee in the store is free to drink, but the breakfast is not good. You need to go to the kitchen to get it yourself, and there are very few things, which can only fill your stomach. The quality of the breakfast is not worthy of the decoration of the B&B. The barista doesn't go to work until 10 am, which is inconvenient for people who are used to having a cup of coffee after breakfast.

Staying in Jiayue - The luckiest thing about this trip is staying in this homestay! As soon as you enter the house, you can feel the extreme sanitary conditions. Every corner is spotless and the details are perfect. Its location is excellent. You can see Jinshan from the window and the scenery is beautiful. The homestay is full of literary and artistic atmosphere. From decoration to layout, it shows a unique style everywhere. Staying here, time slows down, as if walking into the slow life in the novel, leisurely and comfortable, making me reluctant to leave. I heard that the homestay is opened by several young people. They are really considerate. Not only do they provide various travel suggestions, but they can always meet the needs of guests in time, making people feel extremely comfortable and at ease. I lived so comfortably this time. Next time I must bring my mother to experience it!

When they heard that we were going to the ancient town, they took the initiative to drive us to and from the ancient town. The homestay has a restaurant that provides breakfast and afternoon tea. In the Baisha Ancient Town at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the location of the homestay is hard to find. I used the navigation to enter the village, and there were a few old ladies sitting and chatting. I was shocked and thought I had found the wrong place. The young lady went out to meet us before we entered the room. In fact, it is a house built by rural people. We booked a room on the first floor. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was also clean. However, there were no curtains on the balcony on the first floor. We could only close the balcony door when we went to bed at night, so the privacy was not good. It was very cold at night and the air conditioner couldn't be turned up high. Maybe this is the condition at the foot of the mountain. You can see the snow-capped mountains from the rooftop, but the photo taking effect is not good because there are many telephone poles. The housekeeper Ah Wen was very familiar with several popular check-in spots in the surrounding area and drove us there. Although we paid for the car fare, we were very satisfied because they were familiar with these places. At least we didn't make any mistakes and started taking pictures as soon as we arrived. The rice noodles made for breakfast are delicious.

The room is well-equipped, spacious, well-lit, and well-hygienic. The design is reasonable. The location is in Baisha Ancient Town. You can see beautiful snow-capped mountains on the roadside when you go out. It is also easy to take a taxi in the early morning. You can see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in about 20 minutes at Xianye Ranch. The lights in the small courtyard of the homestay are very warm at night. The view on the terrace on the second floor is also good, suitable for sitting and chatting with friends.
