Ulasan Pension Yufuin

We arrive at Pension Yufuin late(6pm). Hotel is 800meter walk from JR station which is a pleasant walk. Small hotel with owner looking after the place. We enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s a small hotel with 2 indoor onsen, 1 outdoor onsen which is incredible. Room are small but comfortable. Will definitely comeback.

The owner is so good. There are two private onsen bath rooms. also outdoor onsen.

I stayed a night in Yufuin. The ryokan allowed experiences for both open air and private hot bath. It was my first bath experience in Japan. The baths were very comfortable. The rooms and dining area was beautifully decorated like a cottage. Thank you very much to the Pension Yufuin manager (I'm sorry I forgot to ask for a name). The place was very clean and the reception was so kind. I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful

There is a private onsen. In front of the accommodation is a river with beautiful flowers and mountains. The owner of the house is kind and lovely.

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the station. The surrounding area is beautiful, but maybe Yufuin is in the suburbs, and there was no network on the way from the station to the hotel. So I was a little panicked at first, afraid of getting lost. Fortunately, the location of the hotel is not too difficult to find. Seeing this fairy-tale-like road sign means you have arrived at the hotel! It is not too far to nearby attractions. The room we booked has a public restroom and bathroom. I was a little worried at first, but when I saw the cleanliness of the restroom and bathroom, even I, who have a slight mysophobia, was very satisfied. It felt like staying at a friend's house. It was very warm and the landlady was very friendly. However, there was one drawback: there was no refrigerator! However, there are convenience stores and a supermarket nearby, which is quite convenient. And the bed, although small, was very comfortable! So overall I am very satisfied.

I really like this homestay. The living room is warm and comfortable, and the coffee is delicious. I was a little worried about the public bathroom and shared private bath, but it was very clean. The owner and his wife cleaned it almost every time the guests used it. It was very clean. The two private baths were enough for the guests staying in the hotel, and there was no situation that I was worried about. The only problem was that the water flow of the shower was a little bad, and it would be perfect after a little repair.

The hostess was very welcoming and since she was not very busy, she gave me a Japanese-style tatami living room (which can accommodate 4 tatami beds) + a Western-style twin room. Extra large. 😀 In the evening, we used the entire outdoor hot spring. 🙏 You can buy food in the hall and eat there, and the hostess will provide tableware. Super warm, will definitely come back. ☺️☺️☺️

Family-style accommodation hotel, the mattress made by the old lady is the most comfortable in the hotel I have stayed in, there is a feeling of being pampered. No meals are provided, but microwave ovens and dining utensils are provided, which is very considerate. When we left, the old lady stood at the door and watched us walk away. Every time I looked back, I would see her figure, just like my own grandma. I will go again next time.

Although the location is relatively remote, the environment is good and has a pastoral atmosphere. The waiter introduced the room and hotel facilities in detail. The bathroom and hot spring are connected. You can also enjoy free parking when you stay.
