The hotel environment is great. Because it is a little far from the city, we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food tasted good, but the breakfast was not good. It might be because of the off-season! I want to say that the hotel's service really needs to be improved. I took my luggage from the car after parking in the underground garage. The shuttle bus driver just watched me move it without helping. We are three ladies, including an old man! The facade and service of this hotel are really mismatched. I really hope it will be improved! Taohuayuan is still worth a visit!

GGuest UserThe ancient town is going to climb the stone steps. We arrived late that day. The boss helped us carry the luggage to the inn and told us to walk to the slow stone steps on the other side. I ate at the inn for dinner. I ordered a few dishes that tasted good, but unfortunately I didn't eat the fish made by the boss. The lights in the ancient town at night are beautiful, the ancient town in the morning is quiet, the water in the Wujiang River is clear, and it is very pleasant to walk on the shore.

The room supplies are clean and sanitary, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is very powerful, so you don't feel cold when staying there. The smart toilet has a heating function. This season is very warm (you know). The balcony is not big but you can enjoy the river view at 270°. The curtain design is clever. If you’re too lazy to get out of bed, just shout “Hello Xiaoku” to help complete the task. This time, due to problems with my itinerary, I checked in very late at night and checked out very late the next day. The boss waited patiently and helped me, and I would like to express my gratitude here🙏. Gongtan Ancient Town is a place worth staying for two days, looking forward to meeting again. There are stone steps in the ancient town, so it is recommended to travel light.

MMatthieuI am a foreigner, I don’t speak Chinese. I have traveled to Gongtan by bus from Chongqing north station. The hotel is a little bit far from the ancient town, it is about 1 km. I am however very satisfied with this booking. The quality of the room is excellent. The mattress is soft, the room has air conditioning, the bathroom is at new standard with a great view on the valley. The boss of the hotel was extremely nice and helpful with us. We took his wechat and we could then easily talk to each other. He transported us from the hotel to the entrance of the ancient town several times (on demand return trip). He did it for free, by using the van of the hotel that can accommodate a group of 6 people. He has also booked a boat trip on the river for us. The breakfast was local, it means noodles. Coffee is extra. We had a great evening at the hotel, we drank local beers and had fun at the KTV located inside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and strongly recommends it.

FFangfeimengxiang❤️A very good and surprising homestay, very close to the North Gate. It is very convenient to walk directly from the North Gate with a suitcase. It is also very convenient to take the direct bus back to Chongqing. You can get on the bus directly from the archway of the North Gate.
❤️The most important thing is that the boss and his family are very nice. The boss knows everything and you can just ask him any questions. The grandparents are very warm and lovely. When we got off the boat at the pier, the boss asked the grandparents to pick us up in advance. The steps are very high and they helped carry our luggage since we have a lot of luggage.
❤️The problem of uncleanness in the B&B that I was worried about before is totally unnecessary. It is very clean and sanitary. The environment is very nice and romantic. The whole house is equipped with smart appliances. The TV didn't work during the stay. The owner asked his friend to come and adjust it. I was really touched.
❤️One of the special advantages of this B&B is that it provides free travel photography clothes. The clothes in the picture below are provided by the B&B. There are other options. The B&B has created a supporting shooting environment. You can take photos for half a day without leaving the courtyard. Haha
All in all it was very good but unfortunately the schedule was tight, looking forward to next time!

QQingniantuan666The room is located near the South Gate in the scenic area. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with dry and wet separation. Even the hair dryer is silent. There is a Bluetooth speaker. I especially like that the cleaning lady cleans the room so well that even the window gaps are spotless! I feel safe living here.

YYaoliThe room is next to the river. You can see the clear water of Wujiang River while lying on the bed. It is very comfortable and the room is large.
The facilities are quite complete, and the cruise ship terminal is just a few steps away, which is very convenient. The boss can buy boat tickets for you, which is much cheaper. We had dinner at his house because the dishes in every restaurant on the street are pretty much the same and there's not much to choose from. The food tasted good but was a little expensive. They don't provide breakfast, but luckily there's a breakfast shop next door, so it's quite convenient. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the food and accommodation!

GGuest UserThe first time I came to Yantan Ancient Town with my friends, I stayed at the Xufengyuan recommended by my friends (I especially respect the place where Ren Zhengfei Ren once lived, and I must be stained with the light of the strugglers). I met the elegant and talented boss Professor Tian.
In the evening, we chat about Chinese learning, astrology, purple micro, and eight words (there is this national essence that can't be said directly, it's fun 😜), share life experiences with each other, and grab the speech 😎.
Especially good, is to drink several good tea, the white tea mellow sun aroma sniff into the body and mind, spleen and stomach through liver and bile and kidney through bladder after start, wonderful!
The chat ended, although I slept late, but I still felt it until dawn.
Wake up after five o'clock, get up and finish the work, use the water of the ancient town to complete the dry bath, after the sun rises, and go to the balcony of Linhe, facing the Wujiang River, which has witnessed countless historical figures, Turna tigers roared, and it was extremely comfortable!
Go downstairs, eat the local specialty fungus noodles made by the boss wife Luo (qualifying English teacher!) After finishing the work in the ancient town, on the way back to Mianyang, I made an appointment with Professor Tian and helped me design my yard and room layout. I also got another layer of harvest and more friendship!
