Southern Inn and Suites Yorktown

Loved this place! had my suspicions at first considering it’s in a little town. After seeing the outside i was a little more convinced because it was so clean. we did have trouble with our tv but the staff came to fix it. other than that the experience and stay was great i would definitely reconnect this place to other people and come again.

We began trying to book a room at 11 a.m. no answer. We've stayed there many times and were concerned they'd closed. We booked a room at yorktown inn and suites and hit the road. Out of curiosity I called southern inn and suites at 5:30 p.m. and someone answered. I explained our dilemma and she said: I just got here. She put me on hold for 19 minutes when I expressed we'd rather stay there. I hung up and called back. She gave us a run around about credit cards because we stayed on the company card and our personal card at one point. She had no record of the company card but did of our personal(which was charged twice the last time we used it). Bottom line is, the rooms, we liked and we prefer the lay out. But this place is being run into the ground with mis management and people who have no idea what they are doing. No ice machine and no breakfast. It is literally a side show. So disappointed due to the fact there are only two hotels in Yorktown and neither are worth bragging about. Sadly this place was nice at one time.
