Find 3-Star Hotels in Yokohama

We booked a connection room and originally planed to stay 6 nights but plan changed and informed trip.com couple of weeks before the trip. When we checked in, we were informed that trip.com had not inform the 3rd party for the amendment, we waited for nearly 30mins for nothing, I would not blame the hotel because Japanese people do things quite strictly, luckily there was a lady who I think supervisor/manager resolved my issue and let us checked in without any issue. A bit disappointed on trip.com for that, even though I succeed to have a live chat with trip.com agent but he/she could not resolved their mistake at all. Room size is Japanese standard which I wouldn’t complain at all, that’s the reason we booked a connection room, you could fit all your baggage under the bed frame which could save you lots of spaces! Hotel location is SUPER! Everything you need just nearby, only thing I would say would be a bit noisy during the day as the hotel is either facing railway or main road, it wouldn’t bother me because I slept pretty well even with noise. Locating the hotel is extremely painful the first day we arrived, even though it’s located just right next to EAST exit, but Yokohama is a really nigh station, so many signals could confuse you, remember look at “北改扎” if you get off from either JR or Keikyu line, otherwise it would take you ages to find the hotel.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at Far East Village Yokohama, the room has enough space , clean and well maintained. We stroll out a good 15-20 mins to find food and restaurants . And find the air cabin interesting in the evening. We crossover we see Hard Rock Cafe & Shake Shack Burgers! The hotel is easy to locate and train station sakuragicho is nearby 5 mins walk. I love that there is complimentary coffee, teas and some evenings biscuits . Though we didnt manage to try the breakfast out but I heard the laksa noodle is good!! Great service and helpful front desk .

Was great staying in Yokohama. Staffs was very kind and the place was nice. Definitely want to stay again if i visit Yokohama again.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a short 5-minute walk from Yokohama Station and surrounded by convenient shopping malls like New Woman and plenty of restaurants. Having a supermarket open until 11 PM on the ground floor was a huge plus. The room itself was clean, well-equipped, and offered good value for the price. Free amenities were available for self-pickup in the lobby, and they even offer parking coupons, which is great for drivers. However, the language barrier proved to be a challenge. The staff's limited English proficiency made communication difficult, and they were unable to assist with restaurant reservations. Also, our room lacked a view, which wasn't a deal-breaker but worth noting. Overall, the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama is a solid choice for its convenience and value, but be prepared for potential communication difficulties and don't expect stunning views.

Subway is just right below the hotel to get you anywhere. There are a few malls nearby, if you're intending to just stay near the hotel. Amenities are conveniently located in the lobby. Starbucks is located in the hotel, if you wish to grab a cuppa in the morning. The staffs are friendly and are more than willing to help. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying for a longer period of time.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is perfect, with easy access to major attractions and transportation options nearby. The service was outstanding; the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to help. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job of maintaining the room's cleanliness throughout my visit. The on-site dining options were excellent, offering a variety of delicious dishes to suit different tastes. The hotel’s facilities, including the gym and lounge area, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. I particularly appreciated the little touches, like the welcome drink and personalized service. The combination of a prime location, exceptional service, and comfortable accommodations made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect balance of convenience and quality!

Hotel is just 3 min walk to Metro Station. The room with twin beds is spacious, yet not enough self-served facilities, like microwave oven or free coffee machine. Anyway the room price is valued for brand hotels.

Walking distance from the Shin-yokohama Station. Accessible to the Ramen museum and many other eateries like restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area. Nissan Car Rental company is round the corner too.

Everything was good at the hotel. The only sad thing for me to share is that we had a very unpleasant experience inside the train heading towards Yokohama from Tokyo. We did not know that we were in the incorrect car. When we were told by the lady train staff, we got up from our seat and tried to go into the next car. But the next car was 110% full and we could not get in. One of the lady train staff was very rude and aggressive towards us. She pushed my wife very hard when we were in between the two cars until she almost lost her balance. Luckily she did not fall down. I view this as a very offensive act and we made a complaint at the Yokohama train office. The journey to Yokohama was very unpleasant.

Because I found that the discount for separate bookings was greater, I split the booking into two. Let me mention the room size again. The gap between the bed and the desk where the TV is placed is too small, so you have to pile all the chairs, slippers, and suitcases in the only aisle. The TV can only watch a few terrestrial channels, and there is no built-in YouTube. When checking in, the black guest next to me was trying to ask the front desk for help. The conclusion is that the English response ability of the front desk needs to be improved (whether it is to keep someone with this ability on the scene 24 hours a day or to improve the operation ability of translation software), not to mention Chinese. The hotel's location in terms of transportation is not excellent, but the advantage is that it reduces railway noise, and there are abundant convenience stores and hotels opposite the hotel and on the way to the station.
