Hotels in Malioboro, Yogyakarta

The hotel is quite worn out even though they have made some renovations.. The Mattress is way uncomfortable (very old and needs to be replaced) The towels looks very old and grey... The toilet.. especially the SHOWER HEAD, definitely is old and needs to be changed... The carpet outside the corrdor.. old and dirty. Eventhough they did some renovations, but only minor changes and cannot cover the old part. Please do more upgrades.

Amazing hotel. Spacious and connecting room. Plenty of eateries to choose from. Walking distance to Tugu Station and Malioboro Street. But twice blackout for a short period. Good spread of breakfast. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back to stay here. Thank you.

Hotel was clean. Minibar was free, hotel location close to shop and tugu Yogyakarta station. Also when departure to airport train from tuğu Yogyakarta station.

Had some issues regarding the change of stay date but resolved promptly by the hotel. Hotel is near to the main shopping area of malioboro street and the breakfast choice is good with plenty of local delights! Face towels are not provided and the guest could use more pillows as we only got 2 pillows for 2 people.

This is my 1st time stay at El hotel recommend by my best friend,since she also stay there with family. The hotel is atill new ,location and design are nice and strategist,the most i like is serounding by food ,shop and walking distance to famoust Malioboro street. My memerorable moment are at the lounge cafe ,when i do surprised bday celebration for my father,the staff's are very fantastic and helpful with my last minute request they can deliver good and happy moment. The breakfast spread also good specially when you dining on weekend the restaurant have javanese music (Gamelan) so make the atmosfer more local jogyakarta. I will stay again on my future to visit Jogyakarta. Welldone El Hotel please keep the good work and work out something with ur AC on the room ya specially towards balcony,the room must all cold 😉😊. Great! We had a good stay of 5 nights, taking our time to explore Yogyarkata. The room is modern and clean. Stable wifi, cooling aircon. It was also quiet and staff were always cheerful and polite. Just a short safe stroll to Malioboro and the train station. We booked without breakfast. We only tried the hotel buffet breakfast on the last day - sadly, it was quite disappointing - our other breakfast hunts on the other days were much better and much more value for money. Still, i will recommend this hotel.

Excellent location to Malioboro St and many food eateries. Highly accessible to other cities in Indonesia as railway station is across the road. Also accessible to YIA by train.

It’s located between Malioboro plaza and mall. Good for shopping and export local as well as international brands, eg MacDonald, KFC, Starbucks. We stayed on level 5 and king suite and it was very spacious and comes with a sofa bed and a kitchen sink. The local front desk was helpful and got us a driver for the day.their breakfast is really good, we paid extras for both days. There are changes to the local section daily and the overall variety is well planned. There is also a small pool on the rooftop as well as bar and massage. We enjoyed our stay

Spacious room and comfortable pillows. Elevator to 4th floor is quite far from receptionist, quite a hassle if got many lugagge 😅 breakfast not that good, cafe ac not quite functioning
