"Choosing Hailuo Hotel was the first thing I did upon arriving in Yingde. While checking in, I met Wenyan at the front desk, who was very enthusiastic, introducing me to good places to eat, drink, and have fun, and explaining all the important points clearly. At checkout, I met Luling again; she reminded me to get my parking voucher and helped me with my luggage—I had so much stuff! Next time I'm in Yingde, I'll definitely go back to Hailuo. It's generous, welcoming, the rooms are clean and bright, and the breakfast is plentiful and nutritious. I was extremely satisfied with everything."

"This stay at Shuiyun Yashe truly exceeded my expectations! There's a huge swimming pool in the courtyard! The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was so soft it felt like being wrapped in a cloud; I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. The biggest surprise was the balcony facing the small garden; in the morning, I could brew a cup of tea and watch the sunlight filter through the leaves, the air filled with the scent of grass and trees. The front desk butler proactively upgraded our room, which was incredibly heartwarming! Five-star recommendation, I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

T Manor Tent camp

"Our two days at T Manor Tent camp were very enjoyable, with lots of peaceful walks through the plantation and some spectacular sunsets seen from our glamping tent and from the viewing area at the top of the hill which looks out over the karst-studded landscape. Our tent was located down below which was less spectacular than the tents on the hill but also less exposed and a good option. We had great service from the T Manor staff, who set up a WeChat thread so my husband could communicate with us easily as most of them didn’t speak English. One exception was Allen, a tour guide from Taiwan who was very friendly and helpful, especially on the last day when he helped organise a car to take us to our next accommodation a few hours drive away. A special mention must also go to the restaurant staff, who served us a range of tea-infused dishes and patiently went along with our many queries (our daughter is coeliac which made eating in China a little complicated). Thank you T Manor for a serene and friendly experience, we particularly loved listening to the sound of the bees pollinating the tea bushes as we eat on the veranda of our tent and looked out over the plantation."

"The location is rather remote, the building is quite old, and there were bats causing disturbances. The facilities are also quite dated. In my room, the door lock was difficult to close, the electronic lock on the door had no power, and when I plugged it in, the bedside lamp immediately went out – one fright after another! The breakfast was simple, but the service was good, and the environment was very nice, to be fair!"
