Ulasan Kavalan Hotel

It's quite dated but literally right on the night market. There was bad smell in the room which needed to be treated with deodorant. The deodorant was so strong that it was almost intolerable. We asked for a room change and they only offered to change to a smaller one next door which was equally smelly. The parking facility is not that great. You will have to use the very small elevator to park in a very small space. The only plus is the staff at the breakdast. They were very nice and polite.

Hotel is located near to train station and night market with plenty of food options. Breakfast is decent and TV is great, with plenty of channels and media box/youtube. Stay came with free food vouchers and the beancurd was awesome!

Lobby grand entrance was a bit shocking, totally different image from the hotel building photo BUT the room, we booked a five bedded room. It was good with a bathtub shower room. Breakfast was satisfying, a good spread beyond my expectation. Just a few minutes walk from Luodong night market. The location is splendid. There are eateries nearby as well.

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to Luodong night market. There is a 7-11 shop opposite the hotel. You can get your daily necessities or a coffee boost or light snacks there easily. However, the hotel looks outdated and run down and cleanliness is an issue. Saw many stains here and there in bathtub and on hotel room flooring. I even saw a cockroach early in the morning near my door, was shocked! The morning breakfast started at 7am but when I reached at 7.10am, it was already full and there was a long queue waiting outside. In the end, we decided to give the hotel breakfast a miss and went to the nearby Mcdonald for breakfast instead! What a waste though! Wouldn't be going back again the next time!

Clean and central Location in Luo dong town.

Besides the bathtub for kids, can’t find any reasons why you should stay here due to the lousy maintenance of the rooms. I had some bites on my legs on the last night. Place was dusty, and toilet linens were stained despite it being changed daily.

Spacious room. Generally ok to me, although the toilet js a bit old. It’s clean enough.

The hotel is about 10-15mins from the latest station. However, this is still acceptable as the front desk staffs were very hospitable and it is very near Luodong night market. Facilities were ok, despite being a little old.

Most if not all hotels near to Luodong night market are old. New ones are located at Jiaoxi hotspring. Family room with two queen beds are spacious though. Breakfast is ok. Will still return as easy access to Luodong market is my priority.

You got what you paid for , worth the value but the hotel is quite old

Kavalan is a great hotel located near night market and many other food eateries. Its abit of an old hotel but still prefect due to its room size and of course its price and free parking provided.
