There are 2 review sites for this guest house. On the other site I found an experience in 2022 similar to my own. Booked at short notice, told there were no rooms and we were being ‘upgraded’ to a cottage which was in a very poor state of repair. Fire and cooker didn’t work, sockets hanging off the wall mould in the bathroom. Also we had to pay in cash and cancel our booking presumably to avoid booking fees. This was a dreadful experience

Great host great location
Great location easy off road parking which is free from 5pm to 9am and all day Sunday. Great host easy assess no thing was any trouble

Delivers what it says on the can
Bit of TLC required especially shower mould and lots of cobwebs around. Not totally of putting as location bails the property out.

The owners are selfish people, who were just interested in taking money! I am not impressed by the way I was treated. I would advise anyone thinking of staying here to look for a better alternative and avoid the Yarm View Guest House. A bad experience

Very helpful welcome - advice re parking and dining.
Bedroom - I especially appreciated the hairdryer and the quality of the soap in the shower. I would happily stay there again.
