What I am most dissatisfied with is the safety and service.
I agreed to give the hotel a good review twice. Once, the boss agreed to upgrade my room type, and once, when I checked out, the lady at the front desk took the initiative to give me local specialties.
But I came back and struggled for several days, and still couldn't give a good review against my will.
There are several reasons.
1. When I entered the room and wanted to change my slippers, I found that there were no bath slippers, only disposable slippers, so I told the boss. I later mentioned the slippers issue several times, saying it would be a safety issue and I was worried about slipping. The boss and later the receptionist thought that they would not provide slippers because they were worried about athlete's foot. But in fact, I almost slipped twice and my 16-year-old daughter almost slipped once. Because the bathroom is too small and the dry and wet areas cannot be completely separated, there will be some water on the floor after washing your hair or taking a shower, making it very easy to slip. What am I dissatisfied with? After I raised my need, the hotel failed to understand me and kept emphasizing the reasons why they did so, and asked me to understand them instead. I really don't know who is paying for the service.
2. My feet hit the leg of the bed. The bed legs and table corners in the room are very sharp, and because there is not much room to move around, it is very easy to hit them. I told this to two hotel owners, and their reactions were extremely cold. No one cared about my feet. The next day, I felt wronged when I saw my boss talking about my feet again. He was just looking at his phone and didn't respond to me or care about a word I said. After I complained to Ctrip, a new front desk clerk came, asked a question, and gave me medicated oil. But from beginning to end, no one looked at my feet. After leaving the hotel, I saw that my feet were not only broken and swollen, but also had large patches of blue and black when I came back. I felt really wronged and I really couldn't give a good review. The picture was taken today, and the color has faded a lot. It was darker and more swollen a few days ago.
In summary, the good parts of the hotel are still okay. They did spend money on mattresses, smart toilets, smart double-layer curtains, and they were equipped with very useful toothbrushes, which are the most comfortable disposable toothbrushes I have ever used. There are also small fish in the lobby, which also has some design sense.
However, it is really difficult for me to give a good review on the hotel's service and security. Even though I was replaced by a very friendly front desk lady the next day, it was difficult to offset my uncomfortable experience.
So, I can't give a good review against my own conscience.
I want to say: No matter how good the facilities of a B&B are, if it doesnât have good service, the ability to see and understand others, and it lacks soul, it will feel terrible to live in it.
