The place is epic! The scenery is beyond beautiful it’s like a beautiful oil painting. The staff are professional and helpful they speak English well to help you and make sure you’re comfortable. Don’t miss the Spa for sure, you get a discount voucher with your booking so it will get deducted from your spa bill prices starts from 700 RMB, very professional and relaxing. There are so many activities to keep you busy. There is a complimentary photography and that was amazing my photographer was really talented and fast he understood what I want even tho we don’t speak the same language. The rooms are spacious clean and convenient. The mini bar is filled with options and they complement you with deserts and fruit all day long. The ladies who help in the restaurant. And Ethan the bar tender was very joyful too. 10/10 I enjoy on my stay the Tai Chi class the instructor speaks English well. I’m definitely coming back again!

Hotel was great. Special shoutout to Sam who patiently spent each morning sharing with us scenic spots and food recommendations for each day! The housekeeping lady even went above and beyond to wipe some dirt off our luggage and left us extra water. Sam also left us a small departure gift which was very thoughtful. Location was very convenient — walking distance from West Street but without the noise and crowds. Cars are not allowed on the street from 12-4 daily, but this didn't cause us any trouble at all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. The environment is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning landscapes that make you feel like you're in a serene oasis. The lush gardens and scenic views create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. One of the standout features of my stay was the butler WeChat service, Chad, in particular, was wonderful! He was incredibly responsive and quick to assist with any request I had. Whether it was a simple question or a special need, Chad handled everything with a friendly demeanor and efficiency that truly enhanced my stay. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a delightful getaway. The combination of a beautiful setting and exceptional staff makes it a perfect choice for relaxation and enjoyment. I can't wait to return!

The hotel is too smelly with the hotpot attached to it making us no appetite all day whole day. At night it was horribly noisy with bar and pub around , Ppl are singing till 11pm and it is at a very noisy location. Do not recommend if you want to relax and recharge

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

I booked the Yangshuo Riverside Resort Hotel for a girls' trip with my daughters. The location and facilities are great. We booked a suit with river view and the mountains behind us. We had a wonderful view of the river, on which bamboo rafts quietly pass by every minute. The whole resort is very quiet and offers a great surrounding for relaxation. The number of travelers spread out so we got the impression having the resort to ourselves. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of Western and Chinese dishes. Our booking included afternoon tea, a photo shoot at the resort, and the loan of bicycles as a gift. We took advantage of everything and had a great time. For dinner, I recommend a restaurant outside the resort. The local restaurant doesn't have much choice and the surrounding areas offer great views. We can definitely recommend the hotel!

The staff is very nice and friendly. My family love this hotel so much because this is the only hotel (among the one we went) has the bidet in the toilet. They offered free cake and beverages during teatime as well as free yogurt during dinner time. We also being surprised by the present given when we checked out. The experience of staying in the hotel was great.

This is quite different from them impression given by almost perfect review score The pro: front desk is helpful. Book Ruyi entrance with discount ticket. Breakfast is okay. Location is okay. The cons: if you are not here to use the hanfu for photo shots. This is really not for you. The entire entrance/ foyer is occupied by the hanfu , hairdo business. Room view is car park. The staff at the Xianchuang Hotel were friendly, and one of them spoke some English. We had no problems checking in as foreigners. The room was clean and nice, although the toilet and shower doors were made of clear glass, so there was no bathroom privacy. The view and location were really disappointing, though. Our room looked out on a building that was under construction and another dilapidated building. Not pretty at all. And I mistakenly thought this hotel would be very close to West Street, but it's a 20-minute walk away. We ended up cutting our stay short and moving to a hotel with a more beautiful view. All in all, it's okay if you don't care about having great views.

I chatted during my whole stay with the reception using WeChat. Thank you for your work ! They helped me with all my requests (boat reservation, sunrise watching at Xianggong, bike, advices, etc.) and I can't show them enough gratitude for the value they added to my stay.. I would like to mention they helped me book two sunrise watching tickets for two friends I made in Yangshuo. They were not staying at their hotel, but the reception organized everything and also contacted the others hotel reception and the driver to make sure my friends don't miss the bus. The breakfast is great (eggs, salad, milk rice?, tea, coffee, fruits, cakes, noodles) and the rooftop is really nice to take pictures with the mirrors and the scenery. You are 7 min away from West Street. Daily cleaning was going an awesome job. Also, you don't have to worry or pay for laundry : put it in the bag provided and enjoy Yangshuo. Magic (=amazing workers) will return your clothes washed. Bed was confortable. Bottle waters are provided as much as you need. Only bad points : I booked this hotel because of the pull-up bar and the dumbells, but they removed them. Only treadmill and bike left... You can find some pull-ups bars and dips bars at Yangshuo Park (15min). They help you with many things, but to order a taxi to the station , you have to pay them 120 yuan (but maybe I misunderstood WeChat translation).
