I recently stayed at a hotel lovely hotel in the mountains and I must say, I was super satisfied with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with stunning views of the surrounding mountainous landscape, also very easy to access (around 18 yuan did ride), plus you can rent scooters or walk very safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure all of my needs were attended to, specially my fairy sister Mini 🌹🩷 she is so smart and helpful and her English is very good, the other ladies of reception also very helpful and friendly, they are good people and treat the guests as friends or family, any questions or demand they will support you their best. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious! I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea 🍵 it’s so kind from them to prepare some treats and drinks in the afternoon for free when you return from the day. In general fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, and I can't wait to come back again in the future. Scape from the city drama hahah! 🩷🫶

I would recommend this hotel to any foreigners who are not too good at speaking Chinese. Most of the staff speak English very fluently. They taught us tourist information such as where to visit with one and half-year-old baby. The view of the Yulong River rafting from our room balcony was spectacular. The location was good. Easy to access Yulong river rafting spot. The hotel restaurant has Chinese food and Western food, which we enjoy a lot. My husband said their sweet sour pork was one of the best. He sometimes had two sweet sour pork a day. They put mosquito cents on at night so we didn't get any mosquito bites. We would like to visit again if we have a chance.

Hotel was great. Special shoutout to Sam who patiently spent each morning sharing with us scenic spots and food recommendations for each day! The housekeeping lady even went above and beyond to wipe some dirt off our luggage and left us extra water. Sam also left us a small departure gift which was very thoughtful. Location was very convenient — walking distance from West Street but without the noise and crowds. Cars are not allowed on the street from 12-4 daily, but this didn't cause us any trouble at all.

What a dreamy hotel! Every time we drove by another hotel in Yangshuo, I thought, ”Wow, their view is not as good as ours.” The location is a bit of a walk from the main part of town, but I appreciated being away in the quiet. The area around West St can be quite noisy. The hotel rooms were so spacious and beautiful, and we loved being able to sip tea on the balcony and gaze upon the majestic karst mountains. The front desk staff is very friendly, and on our arrival, one person in particular was SO helpful (likely patiently spent maybe an hour helping us) with this payment issue we were having (with a Chinese bank card), when she could have easily just been like, ”It's not working, just give me your American card” or something. They do have a laundry service, but it is 30 yuan per kg, which can add up (especially since I felt all my clothes were heavier because they got damp from the humidity), but there are also washers on the roof, which you can use for free (and then hand dry in your room). While we were in Yangshuo, there was constant torrential downpour, so there were a few afternoons, we just hung out in the hotel lobby/bar/restaurant area, which was so peaceful and quiet, with lovely views. The food and cocktails are just okay, but I enjoyed the fresh fruit juices and smoothies. I would also recommend using any of their drivers, especially to pick up / drop off at train stations, or for a day-long tour. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. On the one night we used a Didi driver, they refused to drive up the hill to the hotel (though the hotel drivers are happy to), and we had to trek up the very slippery and steep hill ourselves.

I booked the Yangshuo Riverside Resort Hotel for a girls' trip with my daughters. The location and facilities are great. We booked a suit with river view and the mountains behind us. We had a wonderful view of the river, on which bamboo rafts quietly pass by every minute. The whole resort is very quiet and offers a great surrounding for relaxation. The number of travelers spread out so we got the impression having the resort to ourselves. The breakfast buffet offers a selection of Western and Chinese dishes. Our booking included afternoon tea, a photo shoot at the resort, and the loan of bicycles as a gift. We took advantage of everything and had a great time. For dinner, I recommend a restaurant outside the resort. The local restaurant doesn't have much choice and the surrounding areas offer great views. We can definitely recommend the hotel!

This is a very quiet, clean and accommodating hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We asked for a King bed but it appears to be 2 queens (by North American standards). The beds are enormous! Please request for a non-smoking room if you detest smoking. We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains and river. The other rooms had a tiny window, so upgrade to this room if your budget allows. There is complimentary bottled drinking water in the rooms and a complimentary drink upon arrival. The staff are very professional but do not really speak English. Bring a translator App. It’s very central and you can easily walk to the nightlife on West Street in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

Whether it is outdoor or indoor, the environment also gives a relaxing effect, which is a very good Lingnan feature. The room is large and well-equipped. It is close to the mountains and forests, and there are many mosquitoes. If you need mosquito coils, you can ask the housekeeper. The housekeeper is not there 24 hours a day at night. You need to swipe the door when you return late, which is safe. We arrived late at that time, and the housekeeper also thoughtfully boiled hot sugar water for us.

I had a wonderful stay. My room was very big and spacious with a lovely big bathtub. I arrived in the nighttime so I was pleasantly surprised in the morning when I saw the beautiful gardens spaces. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They helped us book some local attractions. Gordon was especially helpful, he shared some good things to do and he speaks English. The hotel is very peaceful and a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of West Street. Most things are accessible by scooter. Which we were able to rent from outside of the hotel. This was perfect for us. I would highly recommend staying at Yishuiwan Resort, and would stay there again myself!

The view from the villa is exceptional. Previously when we looked at traditional paintings, we thought that the scenes were perhaps imaginary. However, once we arrived, we realised that these mountains and rivers are real, and they are just right in front of the villa. The family which runs the business takes great care in making the guests feel welcome, and they provide many useful tips on how to travel around and access the various scenic points. The garden area of the hotel has a ZEN feel, and it merges with the surrounding landscape beautifully. Last but not least, we had our dinners at the villa and the food, particularly the eggplant dish, was very delicious. 非常感謝老闆Kitty 的招待，令我們有賓至如歸的感覺。酒店地點優越，景觀一流，飯菜更了不得了！各位員工姐姐弟弟的服務態度十分專業，無微不至！ 老闆的普通話、粵語及閩南話專換流暢，適合各地區的遊客！讚讚讚！

The homestay belongs to the Panlongwan real estate project on the east bank of the Li River. The location is relatively secluded. You must have a car or a taxi to travel. Gaode calls a car to West Street for six or seven yuan. However, it is also far away from the hustle and bustle, and the night is very quiet. There are only rolling lawns, green trees, and green mountains in the field of vision. The skyline is clean and empty, and the blue infinity pool is embedded in the grass, which is very impressive. The room is big enough, and the bathroom is separated from wet and dry. The price of the restaurant is not expensive, the proprietress is very nice, and there is a free breakfast, which is excellent.
