⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Hotels We’ve Ever Stayed At This hotel was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was truly special. ❤️ 💛 Staff & Service Without a doubt, the best service we experienced during our trip to China. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo. It truly deserves five stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room and had a wonderful time at SYYF Gallery Courtyard Hotel. The room itself has spectacular views with a tub right outside the balcony in case you want to relax amongst the karst mountains. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. When they realised we were having trouble getting to the bamboo rafting dock, they kindly drove us there themselves — it made the whole experience so much smoother and less stressful. The butler service was excellent. They arranged most of our activities for us and even offered complimentary desserts in the evening, which was a lovely surprise. One of the highlights was the complimentary ethnic photography session. The photographer was very professional, and we got to choose from beautiful traditional costumes. The photos turned out great and it felt like a really special touch. Overall, a comfortable and thoughtful stay with staff who go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

I found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Really enjoyed my stay at SYYF Galley Hotel – one of the best hotels in Yangshuo, located right in the heart of the scenic area. The staff are friendly and helpful. They helped me with my luggage, offered free luggage storage, a free photoshoot, and free afternoon tea. They also helped me book tourist activities in Yangshuo.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The service was impeccable, the facilities were excellent, and the restaurant served outstanding food. The guest activities were thoughtfully planned, engaging, and added a wonderful touch to the overall experience.

Amazing hotel, great hospitality service! I loved everything here. The view from the balcony is stunning! The fishing experience, the sound healing and specially the photoshoot. They gave us national clothes and did amazing photos with high quality, the photographer was nice and friendly. In general staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful!

The hotel was extremely clean, the views were incredible and the breakfast were also really good! Perfect for solo travelers or couples!
