Delta Hotels by Marriott Bodrum

Best price performance ratio hotel in turkey. Great sea view. Good food all day. Very close to yalikavak center. The all-inclusive package at Delta Hotels by Marriott Bodrum was excellent value for money. We enjoyed a wide variety of delicious food and drinks throughout our stay. The hotel also organized several fun activities for guests of all ages, such as water sports and evening entertainment.

This is not a real Marriott hotel and they should remove their name from this property. They are understaffed and not trained in customer service at all. This shows from the moment you drive up. The valet was off, no one helped with parking. Parking is another huge problem. At the check in they only give one key card we were 3. The rooms are dark and they smell food. Towels are so Old that they scratch you when you dry yourself. The room amenities are non existent. We had to ask for covers to sleep. All inclusive concept is nothing but a promise. Food is ok but you have to ask for plates and dishes, like I said the staff is a huge problem. Bunch af teenagers running around aimlessly not trained at all. There is no pool or beachside service, you have to get the beach towels yourself from the second floor but the beach is 2 floors down ! The quality of the clients match the resort, loud and uncultured tourists. It’s like they never seen food in their lives, they attack the buffets. Do not believe that this a 5 star resort. I would give a one star at max. So many screaming kids without adult supervision. Another joke is the snack bar by the beach. They do not even have Turkish coffee and you have to go get your own drinks in paper cups. I could write much more but you get the gist.

The worst hotel ever we ask concierge they say what is concierge, barely any staff speak English food is average service is really bad Don’t recommend at all. It’s not five star at all. Never recommend trashy if you visit you will think it’s 1 star

I recently stayed at Delta Marriot Bodrum, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had. Despite its promising online reviews and appealing photos, our stay was marred by a series of issues that the hotel management failed to address. Room Issues: Upon arrival, we found our room to be in a less-than-clean state. There were stains on the carpet, and the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. To make matters worse, the room had a musty smell that persisted throughout our stay. We immediately informed the front desk, hoping for a quick resolution, but were told that housekeeping was unavailable and no other rooms were available. Amenities: The advertised amenities were either non-functional or in poor condition. The pool was closed for maintenance, which was not mentioned during booking. The fitness center equipment was outdated and some machines were broken. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow and frequently disconnected, making it impossible to work or stream any content. Noise and Disruptions: The walls of the hotel were paper-thin, and we could hear every noise from the adjacent rooms and the hallway. The hotel seemed to host a large, rowdy group during our stay, and the noise levels at night were unbearable. Despite multiple complaints to the front desk, no action was taken to address the disturbances. Staff and Service: The staff at Delta Marriot Bodrum were unresponsive and unhelpful. When we approached the front desk with our concerns, we were met with indifference and a lack of empathy. Our requests for additional toiletries and fresh towels went unfulfilled, and it seemed like the staff simply did not care about the guests' experience. Dining: The on-site restaurant was another letdown. The breakfast buffet was subpar, with cold food and limited options. We decided to order room service one evening, only to have our meal arrive an hour late and cold. When we called to complain, we were rudely informed that there were no refunds or replacements. Additionally they closed all meals earlier than the times set, the hotel was nearly empty but still it doesn't mean the timings should be reduced for those guests who have paid to stay and eat there. Conclusion: Overall, our stay at Delta Marriot Bodrum was extremely disappointing. From unclean rooms and non-functional amenities to unresponsive staff and noisy surroundings, every aspect of our stay was far below acceptable standards. We expected a much higher level of service and comfort for the price we paid. Unfortunately, the hotel's management seemed disinterested in addressing our concerns, which added to our frustration , they also became rather intimidating and rude on our final day when we brought up our complaints. I would not recommend Delta Marriot Bodrum to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for accommodation. Much to our disappointment this hotel did not meet not only our expectations but also the description in the offer and hotel webpage. It is rather a beach family resort but never a 5star hotel for demanding European guests. The employees in general do not speak any language but Turkish, English is rarely spoken there. It causes lots of problems in communication. This beach resort is located nicely at the bay but in quite a long distance from any cities, it is deserted in nowhere. You are left inside with no choice at all. Regretfully the employees prefer the local guests while omitting the foreigners. This beach resort demands the deep refurnishing and refreshing since it remembers late 90's. However the rooms are spacious and clean, those with a seaview give nice feeling of a seabreeze. If only the lightning is stronger, we would see more inside the rooms (especially bathrooms). The food service is excellent, the sufficient choice even for the demanding ones, a wide variety of meat, fish, especially local vegetables in various forms and types. The winner are the deserts in the widest possible selection. It is strange that the hotel says it is "by Marriott". How far away is it from any Marriotts? Does Marriott know abut it at all? This beach resort should be chosen by families with small children, less demanding and with no necessity to move outside of this hotel. Otherwise you might be disappointed like us. Definitely maximum 4 stars.
