I visited Bodrum Holiday Resort with my son in June 2024. The hotel has beautiful views and a great location; however, it may be challenging for older guests and those with mobility issues to explore everything, as the resort is quite hilly. To reach the sea and other facilities, you need to use either steps or steep paths. The rooms were clean, with fresh bedding and a well-maintained bathroom. A dolmuş stop is conveniently located just outside the hotel, making it easy to reach the center of Bodrum. Additionally, the reception offers a variety of tour bookings for those looking to explore further. Now, for the negatives: 1. The main restaurant was disappointing for a 4-star hotel. While the breakfast, salad, and fruit options were decent, the main meals definitely needed improvement. They were also severely understaffed for the number of guests, leading to long queues and a lack of table service—guests often had to clear and set their own tables. 2. The staff at the pizza bar by the beach were often in a bad mood. While I can understand their frustration—pizza is a popular choice, and the hotel only allocated one staff member to manage the demand—it made the experience unpleasant. The restaurant manager was also very loud, constantly shouting at staff, which made dining uncomfortable. The barbecue section was always busy, and the fish tended to be overcooked and dry. Despite these issues, I would still consider returning because of the location. However, when you book an all-inclusive resort, you expect a better dining experience and better staff management. The hotel definitely needs to hire more staff to improve service quality.
