We had an amazing time! The hotel is so luxurious, clean and the staff is very professional. We were so pleased with our stay and will always recommend staying at Sofitel to our friends!

Amazing hotel with superb facilities. Best breakfast buffet we had anywhere in China. We used the pool, sauna, steam, gym, ping pong, and billiards facilities, and got nails done at the salon. Everything was great, and the staff was always super friendly. Likewise in the ******* cultural goods shop and at the concierge desk. All around excellent stay.

The rooms at the Sofitel were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep, and the well-appointed bathroom offered all the necessary amenities.
The hotel's dining options were equally impressive. The on-site restaurant served a wide variety of delicious local and international cuisines. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, offering a generous selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel's bar.
One highlight of my stay was the attentiveness and genuine care shown by the hotel staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay.

For this type of establishment it is really not a Sofitel
It was difficult nearly impossible to have a glass of french wine white or red ….. very expensive for not much
The room are beautiful. The people try there best
At that level the rest is mediocre…
I am french I forgot the Eiffel Tower is cute 🙏🌴🙏

A nice place in the new part of the city. Has a good breakfast but they have set the coffee machines up wrong. The cups are small and even then everything comes out espresso size.

We stayed at Sofitel Xining for a total of four nights, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and spacious, and the facilities (pool, gym, executive lounge) are world-class — but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality.
A very special thank you to Lucy and Mia at the front desk. Their warm welcome, kindness, and proactive support made us feel genuinely cared for. They went above and beyond to help us during our stay — from arranging transportation to providing great local recommendations. Their professionalism combined with their friendliness made every interaction a pleasure.
We also want to thank Jenny, the Staff Manager, for her attention to detail and personal care. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and we felt truly valued as guests.
It’s rare to experience this level of service — we felt more like friends than hotel guests.
Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Xining.
