"After seeing the positive reviews, we decided to book two nights at their guesthouse, but the experience was very disappointing. Our group of six booked three standard rooms (twin rooms) on Ctrip, but were told there were only two twin rooms and one double room available, with three separate bookings and three different prices: Emei (188 yuan per night), Wuyi (208 yuan per night), and Yandang double room (238 yuan per night). We understood the price difference for different room types, but upon checking in, we discovered that the two standard rooms on the ground floor were identical in facilities, size, and orientation, and were even adjacent to each other. Why were the prices different? Was this some kind of word game? What shocked us even more was that on the second day, during our lunch break, someone entered our Emei room without warning, using a key card to enter without any warning. This caused us serious fright and unease, a feeling of human rights violation. 😳 This kind of awkward situation is a major taboo for hotels and guesthouses. The person then claimed to have opened the wrong door, and the front desk staff said they were guesthouse employees with the master key card. Afterwards, the owner didn't respond at all (we were rushing to see the sights and didn't have time to argue with the owner). This situation is generally unacceptable...
