Our stay at Hesu Designer Hotel was absolutely lovely! The hotel is beautiful, with a great location near the center, making it convenient to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice and friendly, going out of their way to help us despite the language barrier, as we don’t speak Mandarin. A special shoutout to the front desk team and to Xiao Wang, who assisted us throughout our stay. The team made us feel so welcome, always offering us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. At the end of our stay, they even surprised us with a lovely gift (picture). The hotel also provided fantastic recommendations for attractions and restaurants, which made our trip so much easier and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Xi’an!

We had a lovely stay at OrangeHao Hotel in Xi’an with our family, booking three rooms. The hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming environment, making our trip truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff stood out with their friendly and helpful attitude, always ready to assist with any requests. However, a small note of caution: the hotel’s address on Google Maps is inaccurate, so be sure to double-check the location before heading over. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xi’an. Thank you for the excellent service!

The first time to stay in Xi 'an this hotel, the overall feeling is very good, but also gave us a free upgrade room type, very good! The room lighting is also very good, there is a French window is very beautiful, the room is the same as the pictures on the Internet, the decoration style is simple and elegant, which is my favorite style, the room is clean and sanitary, especially comfortable after check-in, the reception service attitude is very good 👍 next time I will continue to choose this hotel! Room hygiene aunt clean very clean, next to a famous scenic spot in Xi 'an city wall at night and lanterns, close to other scenic spots, is really a very good geographical location. Although she said that her English was not good, hahaha, she was very good at communicating with us in English, and would also recommend Xi 'an food and scenic spots to us. Transportation is also very convenient to the subway station is also very close, parking is convenient at the door, mainly nearby places to eat, supermarkets, shopping malls, fruit shops have very convenient and sell specialty stores, are very close. Every time we go out, we will ask whether we need to bring hot mineral water or whether we need to clean the room, etc. Every service staff will greet us when we meet, which makes me feel warm. The hotel room is very clean, and the items are neatly arranged. The bathroom and shower are separated for wet and dry areas, making the stay comfortable and reassuring. The front desk staff, Renee is also very warm and welcoming—highly recommended! The staff is very helpful, and I really like this place. The breakfast is delicious, the view is beautiful, and everything is great! If I have the opportunity to visit Xi’an again in the future, I will definitely stay here again. 酒店房间卫生很好，物品摆放井然有序，卫生间和淋浴间干湿分离，住得安心、舒心。前台妮妮也非常热情，强烈推荐！工作人员也非常乐于助人，我很喜欢这里。早餐美味，风景优美，一切都很棒！如果以后有机会再来西安，我一定会再次入住。

First and foremost, we would like to thank the hotel staff for the pleasant stay. Ms Tao Zi, Ms. Jing Jing and their colleagues at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. Ms. Yi Gai Li and her colleagues at the breakfast and high tea restaurant were warm and friendly. Appreciate all your wonderful service and warm welcome. When I booked the hotel, I just wanted a clean, value for money with a good location hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights in Dec 2024 at CNY425 per room per night, inclusive of daily breakfast and high tea. Food: Simple breakfast and high tea, but good enough to warm our stomach to start our day. Coffee was better than expected (I thought it would be 3 in 1 type), the breakfast consist of fruits, salad, noodles, rice, porridge, bread, etc. Tea break has some simple snacks like portuguese egg tarts, mochi, mini cakes, cookies, fruits, chinese tea and coffee. Room: There were no connecting rooms, but we were allocated nearby rooms. We had clean white towel and sheets. The toilet and sink were clean, but if you're staying with friends it's a bit inconvenient due to lack of privacy. Although there are doors for the individual toilet and shower stalls, it would be better to have another door at the entrance to the changing area just before we enter the shower stall. This is a minor issue as we are more conservative. Tour bookings: The hotel has staff that assist with daily tour bookings, thus it was very convenient. We booked our day trip to the Terracotta Warrior and the coach came to pick us up at the hotel. I would suggest that you spend the extra CNY 298 per pax to watch the performance, it was worth it. Overall we had good night rest and enjoyed the stay. Thank you again to the hotel for exceeding our expectation.

Stayed here for our Xian trip. Hotel was modest but adequate. Staff did not speak english but we used the translator apps so that was not a major issue. Room was big and comfortable. Self-Service Laundry is available. Halal restaurants are available along the streets. Location is near to the Lumoushi Pedestrian shopping alley and about 15 mins walk to the Huimin Muslim Food Street. Very close to the metro station. A special mention to our housekeeper Ms Xiaoxiao at Level 8 for keeping good care of our room and the other staff for their warmth service.

A five star rating for a local three star hotel. Everything was good from the hotel location which is within 2 km from Bell and Drum Towers. Staff were friendly especially the kitchen's chefs who packed breakfasts for us on the day we went on an early excursion to the Terracotta Warrior sites. The hotel has good amenities: It is surrounded by food and convenience stores and even a supermarket. The washing machines and heaters are really helpful as my family were staying there for a week so clean laundry was definitely a plus The housecleaning service is also prompt and helpful whenever we have additional requests. The only negative is the wifi connection which went off intermittently. Oddly this issue only happened on our mobile phones while it worked ok for my laptop.

1. Location - very conveniently located. The street has lots of convenience stores, restaurants and food carts especially at night time. The food carts here were slightly cheaper but equally if not better than the ones in the more popular Muslim quarter. We had one of the best hot and sour dumpling soup in one of the food carts down one of the alleys. Went there twice. 2. The Muslim quarter is a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. We went there all 3 nights of our stay, to eat, to shop, to sightsee etc. it was very lively and lots of shops open until midnight. 3. The ground floor has direct access to the mall next in the same building during the day where they open the door between the buildings. 4. There are 2 metros very close by. You have to walk a lot inside Zhonglau station. 5. The breakfast was simple and filling. We had it for one of the days when we had an early start. The other days we ate from the places open on the street below. There is also McDonald’s across the street. 6. It is walking distance to the Xian city wall. 7. The room is on the smaller side but not cramped. Enough room for 2 of us. It was clean and modern. We booked one of the rooms that didn’t have a window to outside. The hotel had a setting where two rows of rooms had a gap in the middle with windows facing one another. 8. The staff were really helpful and helped us through translate apps. 9. They also give you a small gift of some Chinese snacks on your departure which was very nice.

Our stay was pleasant until the checkout experience, which left us deeply disappointed. When we approached the reception desk to check out, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. He spoke in Chinese, which we couldn’t understand, and repeatedly mentioned the app Trip.com. When I showed him my Trip.com booking, he took my phone without permission and went straight to the hotel review section, clicking “all excellent” ratings on my behalf. We were shocked by this behavior and immediately told him that as a receptionist, it is inappropriate and unethical to fill out a guest’s review. This incident ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay, and we hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their staff’s professionalism.

The hotel was in a very good location. Just a walking distance to the muslim street. As we are muslim, it is easy to find halal food around the area. We were allocated with a good room that has a view of the Bell Tower. We also really grateful for the assistance by Ms Xiaolei at the front desk for making our check in smooth and our whole stay a pleasant one. The location is also easy to get around either by Didi or by subway. Overall we had a good experience and will not mind going again to the hotel in the future. And hopefully for the same room.
