Hotels in Daming Palace/Xi'an Railway Station, Xi'an

I want to express my thanks to the awesome staff of the hotel. They are extremely friendly and helpfull. The hotel is clean . You can imagine that the rooms condition is a little bit older than the pictures. Nevertheless the cleanliness is ok. You can expect a Chinese style breakfast but enough also for eastern demands on low level. There is coffee egg and toast together with some tomato. On the other hand they are a variety of Chinese dishes like rice sausage pastries . You are extremely near to the drum tower and Muslim quarters and can reach also easily the bell tower and the city wall. Didi and Alipay works over the entire city. The hotel is also near to the metro station. I personally didn’t experience the metro ride. The hotel have also a pickup and drop off taxi service to the airport. The price is reasonable compared with didi premium rides.

The only great point about this hotel is the location just less than 300metre from Metro Subway Station Line 2. The reception front desk staff are robotic, not well trained to answer question much. They only attend to you at counter that's all. Don't go extra miles to help or assist non hotel questions. The hotel room is large and comfortable but the unit is facing main road with traffic noises early morning, which is pretty noisy and annoying even on Level 10. Breakfast is good and reasonable selections available, don't be picky mainly local Chinese offerings on Level 10.

Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs, but overall, the experience was good. Positive Aspects: 1. Friendly Staff: The staff was welcoming and attentive, making our stay pleasant. 2. Comfortable Room: We loved the huge bed and the minimalist decor of the room. It felt modern and inviting. 3. Amenities: The room had all the necessary amenities, and we were impressed that they replaced them daily—something that’s not common in Europe. 4. Laundry Facilities: The hotel offers a laundry area where you can wash and dry your clothes. This was very convenient for us during our stay. Areas for Improvement: 1. Hard to Locate: Finding the hotel entrance was confusing. It’s located on the 6th floor of a building shared with other tenants, and the elevator is used for various purposes, which felt a bit chaotic. Clearer signage or instructions would be helpful. 2. Laundry Room Concerns: The dryer is set to only 25 minutes, which wasn’t sufficient to dry our clothes. We had to restart it several times, and even then, our clothes weren’t fully dry. Additionally, there’s a toilet next to the laundry area that seems to double as a smoking spot (used by both guests and staff). For non-smokers, this was very uncomfortable. 3. Tobacco Smell: The toilet in our room also smelled like tobacco, possibly coming through the vents. This was disappointing in an otherwise clean and well-maintained room. 4. Breakfast Options: We wouldn’t recommend the breakfast for Western travelers. The buffet mostly consisted of Chinese dishes, and there was no coffee or tea available. We had to get tea from the lobby instead. 5. Room Temperature: The room was uncomfortably hot, and we were instructed not to adjust the AC. Opening the window wasn’t a great alternative due to outside noise. 6. Noise Issues: The walls are thin, and we could hear people screaming. While the hotel had many great features, addressing these issues would significantly enhance the guest experience.

First of all, let me talk about the overall evaluation. I personally give it 5 points. It is a very pleasant stay experience during the Spring Festival. Let me talk about it in detail: Geographic location: near the city wall, there are 2 subway stations nearby, and there are 2 super large shopping malls. During the 5 days of stay, we used a shared bicycle for 6.8 yuan** to go back and forth from the hotel to the subway station, which was very convenient. Eating: There is a large shopping mall called Yitian Holiday near the Chaoyangmen subway entrance of the hotel. The Chang'an food stall in the mall is a very famous snack in Xi'an. The environment and taste are super good. In-room facilities: The 2.2-meter big bed is really friendly to families with children. The store also specially added a quilt. Service: The service is very good and enthusiastic. Big praise! Sanitation: Because it was newly renovated in 2023, the hygiene is also super good. Suggestions: 1. Add a convenient clothesline in the appropriate place in the room

My friend recommended this shop to me with high praise, and after experiencing it myself, it really lived up to its reputation. The shop is fully equipped, from air conditioning to WiFi, everything works well, and every corner is spotlessly clean. What impressed me most was the enthusiastic service of the shop assistants, especially the Nanyang girl, who had a sweet smile and attentive service. Before leaving, she even gave me the local specialty Bingfeng tea. This unexpected surprise made the whole experience even more memorable. From the environment to the service, it is impeccable. No wonder my friend strongly recommends it. It is really worth coming again and again.

I love this hotel so much. Even though that I get to stay in the older building, i cant complain. This hotel has free breakfast, and even free laundry. The front office staff also very helpful. They always help me to solve any difficulties I had during my stay. Even though its a bit far from subway. I love this hotel. I will stay in this hotel in the future whenever I come to xi’an 💕🥰

The hotel I stayed in this time was really satisfying! As soon as I entered the room, the bed was flat and clean, and there was no odor in the bathroom. The details were perfect. There are many fun things around. The hotel is located near the clock tower and the subway entrance. It is very convenient to travel and it is very quiet to sleep at night. The front desk lady was enthusiastic. Not only was the processing quick, but she also recommended fun places around. The TV and air conditioner in the room were very easy to use, and there was also smart guest control, which gave me a full experience! Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

The stay at the Meilu Luxury Hotel is perfect! The hotel is in an excellent location. The subway can reach Xi'an Railway Station in ten minutes. It is adjacent to the subway station. It only takes 10 minutes to drive to popular attractions such as Bell and Drum Tower and Muslim Street. The surrounding dining and shopping facilities are all available, which really realizes the convenience of ”quiet in the middle of noisy”. The room facilities are amazing. The whole house intelligent guest control system (such as electric curtains, voice assistants) and 100-inch projectors create a technologically-sense living atmosphere. The bathroom space separated from wet and dry is equipped with a smart toilet and anion hair dryer, and the details show high-end quality. In addition, the commercial facilities around the hotel are complete, and there are many shopping centers such as the Bell Tower business district and Kaiyuan Mall to meet multiple needs. Whether it is exploring historical sites or savoring the city's fireworks, this is an ideal choice for staying.

Buffer style breakfast only 15 YEN and it is very decent. Great location, rent ebike and get to drum tower or city wall in less than 15 mins. The room was alot better than i expected. Great value for the money as a foreinger.

The room is not small, and there is a desk. The location is convenient, and there are many delicious foods around. The transportation is convenient, and it feels like an old tourist hotel. Breakfast is also provided, which is very suitable for off-season travel.
