Xi'an Xincheng District Hotels

I booked a 3 night stay and it was the best choice ever. Location was literally opposite a night market with awesome street food and shopping, and right in the heart of Xi’An. I would like to specially commend Lucy for accommodating to my request for window view despite the hotel being almost fully booked, for answering all my enquiries promptly and patiently, and also for making my trip in Xi’An so lovely. Feels so at home talking to her. Definitely will book Novotel again. Thumbs up to Lucy and team! Highly recommended 🥰

Stayed at Ramada for four nights. The bed was firm and just right for sleeping. The towels are changed everyday and toiletries provided. The buffet breakfast has very good range. I really liked the mushroom baos. The location is 10 mins walk to Belltower or Muslim Quarter not very far at all. The only thing I don't like is the smoky smell in hallways and provision of ashtray bin for smokers. It's not the hotels fault but to make it less desirable to smokers don't provide facilities which support smoking.

Great hotel for a short stay in Xi'An. Very close to all the main sights and very convenient for using the metro. Great breakfast on offer and great amenities like a gym. The staff were all very helpful and the check in was seamless. Thanks to Zhang for an easy check in and check out!

Overall check-in to check-out was satisfactory with all front desk’s helpful staffs. Hotel location is convenient & clean. Breakfast is also ok. The only set back is the hotel’s free terra-cotta worrier guide (doesn’t include entrance tickets and others), which is some sort of like a gimmick to lure us into engaging with the hotel’s tour agency/agent on their package. We opted for the tour package after being convinced by the agent in the name of the hotel, and we even cancelled our earlier pre-booked package, however; the entire tour experience with the hotel’s agency was nothing to shout about. And I believe we can get better tour options from others. They also did some up-sell & cross-sell of other attractions/souvenirs during our journey. The package inclusive of lunch, but the lunch buffet was a joke. Rice/noodle with all vegetarian dishes - that’s all & no water/drinks. The main disappointment was they only briefly & quickly brought us through the entire terra-cotta 1, 2, & 3 pits and the bronze horse cart. But they did not bring us to the latest built 50th anniversary gallery which is supposed to be the main highlight. It’s a huge disappointment. Don’t waste your time on their tour package in the name of their hotel despite looking attractive. The hotel shouldn’t engage such tour agency to tarnish the branding unnecessarily even though it could be under same company.

I stayed here a total of 4 nights: I booked forst 3 days, but then for a delay I added one more night. Overall, it was a nice place: the room was clean, the location was convenient (I could go to the center of the town in 10 minutes) and the amenities were good. However, I found that the towel was a little bit small and the absence of an elevators made difficult to move with the luggage. It was also a little bit hard to find the entrance, but the kindness of the staff helped me a lot. In general, I would recommend this hotel if you are staying a few days in Xi'An and you need to quickly see the walls, the bell drum and the Muslim quarters because of its price and position. Overall, I had a good experience and I slept well, so I think it deserve the maximum.

*NO AIR CONDITIONER* Okay it says ventilation on the app, however this is the Mercure. What do you mean no AC? The staff were helpful telling me to just “open a window”. And showed me different rooms to try find a cooler room. However one smelled of smoke and the other was facing the same way and on the same floor. Honestly it’s not the staffs fault it’s the companies. I cannot imagine staying here in the summer. I had one of the worse sleeps the second night. The hotel is nice, breakfast was fine but not being able to control the air is stupid. I’ll be fine even if they had fans to rent.

The room is spacious and bright, with elegant decoration that still retains a modern touch. The bed is comfortable, as if it could make one forget the fatigue of the journey. The bathroom is fully equipped and the quality of the toiletries is excellent, making people feel the meticulous care. The hotel's catering service is highly praised. Whether it's authentic Shaanxi cuisine or an international buffet, both leave a lasting impression. The service staff were warm and attentive, and every detail was handled just right. Whether it is the reception at the front desk or the service in the guest rooms, it all reflects the hotel's respect and emphasis on its guests. In addition, the hotel enjoys a prime location with convenient transportation and is surrounded by numerous scenic spots, providing great convenience for tourists. Overall, Xi'an Huiyuan Jinjiang International Hotel has won my high praise for its excellent service, comfortable accommodation and superior location. I strongly recommend it to all friends who plan to travel to Xi'an. It will be an unforgettable experience.

First of all, let me talk about the overall evaluation. I personally give it 5 points. It is a very pleasant stay experience during the Spring Festival. Let me talk about it in detail: Geographic location: near the city wall, there are 2 subway stations nearby, and there are 2 super large shopping malls. During the 5 days of stay, we used a shared bicycle for 6.8 yuan** to go back and forth from the hotel to the subway station, which was very convenient. Eating: There is a large shopping mall called Yitian Holiday near the Chaoyangmen subway entrance of the hotel. The Chang'an food stall in the mall is a very famous snack in Xi'an. The environment and taste are super good. In-room facilities: The 2.2-meter big bed is really friendly to families with children. The store also specially added a quilt. Service: The service is very good and enthusiastic. Big praise! Sanitation: Because it was newly renovated in 2023, the hygiene is also super good. Suggestions: 1. Add a convenient clothesline in the appropriate place in the room

The lobby is clean and tidy, and the service is gentle and friendly. The room was clean and spacious, the heating was very powerful, the surrounding area was quiet and not noisy, mainly close to the train station. The overall value is great and the experience is very good.

Pleasant stay for two nights. The room price is reasonable with this proper hotel standard.Location is about 10 minutes walk from nearest metro station.There are many shops to visit along the the street from metro station to hotel.Room is spacious with kettle,tea and coffee provided.We are allowed to store out luggage after check out at the lobby near reception. There is no baggage store room. Breakfast is simple Chinese cuisine. Plenty of local Chinese channels program but no cable channels eg CNN and BBC.
