Xi'an Xingchen Hotel

We arrived at 6 pm and the room was not ready. They explained they offered late check out and that’s why it wasn’t cleaned yet,. However, they offer us a late check too and took our luggage to the room when it was ready while we had dinner and explored the city. They give you a code to enter the room. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family (2 Adults + 2 Kids). It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!!! The toilets were modern. It had a kitchen that we didn’t use. It also had a washing machine with a place to dry the clothes! This really save us! The location was great, right in the city’s heart. We arrived at Xian north and it has a direct metro line 2 (27 min). You also have the Muslim quarter from 1 metro station stop. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay longer.

The staff are not helpful.. I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights.. In the voucher, it's written free station pick up.. but it is not.. The hotel is hard to contact to..

excellent service. clean and tidy. convenient public transport. within walking distance to major tourist spots.

Large room , more like a studio. Not very clean ,no cups or cutlery although there is a kitchen. Spartan deco , not very homely , feels unwelcoming. Needs some tlc and deco and colours. Also no instructions for TV or shower, by the way, no shower curtain

I abandoned my hotel, that's how bad it was. Avoid this place and go around the block for a much nicer place. Let me describe it for you. The cigarette smoke-filled, dark, decaying corriders, elevators and hallways leading to your room really set the scene. I watched a dog on a leash urinate in the tiled corridor and the owner neglect to clean it up. When you anxiously get to your room (in the dark) you will feel as if you are in a scene from a horror movie about to be murdered. You will need a torch to input the pin to enter your room. Your room will probably be filled with smoke, with an ashtray. It will be decaying and will not be furnished. When you inevitably ask for a 'non-smoking' room, you will be upgraded.. to a room that smells like smoke and has an ashtray. Would you like to shower? I hope you like being hosed off in a room like a human trafficking victim. Enjoy standing over your toilet and sink while you get rinsed off from a small faucet in a decaying room. Must be time for bed now right? Lucky you, you get to sleep on a bed as firm as a slab of wood. There is probably some sort of room cleaning.. every few days. The photos you are seeing on this website are inaccurate. They are most likely edited. When you arrive you will be 'upgraded' to a room that they have for you.. the room they were always going to give you. The one that looks like garbage. Because there never was a good room! I could say something nice about the location of this hotel in relation to things. But I could also say that about the very nice hotel around the block too. I'd demolish this building complex if I could.

It’s good area and comfortable for me train - shopping mall - xian wall 😇
