Hotel di Sangu Resort Area, Wuyishan

Had a lovely 3 night stay over Christmas break. Took a 3 hour high speed train from Shanghai. The hotel offers free pick up service from the train station with reservation made in advance. Everything was very smooth. When we arrived at the hotel, my kids enjoyed the buggy ride from the main lobby to our villa, where there was a nice tea, fruit, and pastries waiting for us. The hotel is very close to the National park. It’s about a 30 min walk to the south entrance where you can get tickets for the bus that takes you around the park to the hiking trails and bamboo raft trip. Remember to bring your passport. We forgot but our photos were accepted as ID. On our way out, we had some pictures taken on-site. We forgot to book in advance but the staff were very accommodating. We do not speak mandarin at all but we were able to get by with Google translate, WeChat, and some of the staff are English speaking. Overall, the Villas are very nice. The pictures look exactly as shown. A true 5 star. Would highly recommend.

Great location in terms of getting to the Wuyishan national park via the free public bus. Breakfast was good and there's a lot of snacks provided. We had a free tea/snack tasting session when we checked in, which was a nice touch (but they will also try to sell the tea/snacks to you). The lady who was in charge of the building was really attentive and helpful, and even arranged a good taxi for the transfer to the train station. Appreciated the free room upgrade they gave us as well. Lastly there was a mahjong room in our building which was fun (for those who play!) Overall a lovely place to stay when visiting Wuyishan.

The design combines oriental aesthetics with the essence of tea culture. The Hui-style buildings with gray tiles and white walls complement the natural landscape. The ancient trees in the courtyard are verdant and the waterscape is lively. It is like a tea culture museum hidden in the mountains and rivers. Every shot is a poetic painting. The guest rooms are ingeniously designed, with simple and elegant Chinese style, spacious space and exquisite details. Tea elements are dotted in between, which not only echoes the Wuyi rock tea culture, but also creates a quiet Zen atmosphere. Overall, this is a resort hotel with a sense of design, cultural heritage and humanized service, which is worth staying in repeatedly.

The hotel's service awareness is still very good, and it can actively and positively solve the problems and needs of guests The suggestions put forward can be improved immediately: One thing to be strengthened is breakfast, I hope it can be richer in food and have more choices The sound insulation on the second floor is not very good, it's average, and the karaoke on the underground first floor is very noisy. It's convenient to take a taxi, but it's not very convenient to take the bus. On rainy days, the Didi driver doesn't know how to pick up guests on the underground first floor, so it's easy to get wet. This homestay is one of the top three homestays in Wuyi Mountain. It was just built last year. It is recommended that the price can be more favorable, which would be better. It is very good to have a pick-up service, If there is a drop-off service, it would be even better. My two daughters are very satisfied with this homestay.

We brought our family to stay and the welcome by the hotel staff was very warm and inviting. They helped with restaurant recommendations and booking tickets. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast caters to both local and foreign tastes. Due to regular buses it was extremely easy to get to downtown or the park entrance. When we stayed the buses were free. We had an early departure and the hotel packed breakfast and helped arrange a car to take us back to the train station. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

The boss was very enthusiastic. It was his first time visiting Wuyi Mountain and he provided travel guides. He also enthusiastically answered questions about tea. It is only a ten-minute walk from the scenic spot. The environment is very good. As soon as you enter the lobby, you feel very warm and comfortable. There are elevators up and down the stairs, which is very convenient. They also thoughtfully prepare snacks. The room is well-equipped and has a bathtub. We lived on the top floor and there was a terrace. The outdoor scenery was pleasant in the morning, and it also had a unique feel when the lights were on after dark. All in all, I feel very good. I will come again next time~

The room is very clean, quiet and no noise at night, there is a washing and drying room, and a buffet breakfast. The transportation is convenient, there are many delicious foods downstairs, and it is also very close to the attractions. I will book it next time~

I often stay in B&Bs. This one has the best service and the owner is very enthusiastic. Whether it is the room or the environment, it feels like home. My family and I checked into your hotel from 4/5 to 4/7. When we got off the hotel, the security guard helped open the door. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk gave our children free breakfast. She also introduced us to a half-day tour. Room 8310 is extra large, with a living room and a tea room. You can see Dawangfeng. Thank you for your hard work to the lady cleaning the room... There is a restaurant opposite the hotel, and it is also very close to Sangu Street, which takes about ten minutes. The main impression is that Dahongpao is just a wall away😀 thank you all! It’s a pity that I didn’t sit on the bamboo raft on a rainy day. I will stay at your hotel next time.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were accomodating to our needs. We had arrived a few hours before the check in time but they were able to give us a room immediately. It is a little far from the tourist attractions but easy to get to in a taxi. The room itself was very nice and had all the necessities required.
